So I've had my M4 Max Studio sitting on my desk taking up way too much space, and I finally pulled the trigger on this mount. Best decision I've made for my setup in a while. Installation took me maybe 10 minutes, but full disclosure - most of that was just the awkwardness of working under a desk with a drill and screwdriver. The mount itself is super straightforward. One tip though, and this definitely isn't from personal experience or anything... make sure you install one side first and then pull the second side out a little before dropping your Studio in. The two sides aren't perfectly square to each other, so if you tighten everything down first, you might find yourself wondering why your $2000+ computer won't slide into the mount. Not that I did that or anything. The Studio fits perfectly once you get it in there. Aluminum construction feels really solid - none of that "I hope this holds" feeling you get with some cheaper brackets. The anti-scratch pads do their job, and I'm not worried at all about my investment crashing to the floor. Port access hasn't been an issue. Yeah, you have to reach under the desk, but that's kind of the whole point of getting it off your desk in the first place. Power button is the same deal, but honestly my Studio never gets shut off anyway. Even the Kensington lock slot on the back is fully accessible if you're into that sort of thing. My desk is actually usable now instead of being dominated by a chunk of aluminum Apple decided needed to be desktop furniture. No regrets on this purchase. ... show more

I bought the vesa version because it better fits my needs of mounting it on the bottom side of my standing desk. Works well and the included screws, unlike some in similar products, don’t break when you drill them into wood. I made very small pilot holes (more like dips or dents in the surface of my desk) before drilling the screws in. I drilled them in fully and then took them back out, blew out the dust (probably unnecessary and might hold in better with the dust but who cares), then screwed them back in. Holds the M4 Max Mac Studio very firmly. Make sure that IF it’s in a crowded spot under your desk that you orient the blocked part in a way that it won’t obstruct your ability to slide it in or out. The rubber/silicone pads combined with how tight of a fit it is hold it VERY firmly and securely and even if the mount fell off it would still be encapsulated. If you don’t slide the Mac Studio in flat it might rub up against metal until it’s all the way in but the Mac’s metal is slightly harder and you can wipe off the material that gets on it with your finger or a lightly damp cloth. I can try wiggling this thing and it won’t budge at all. Pretty easy to assemble and the screw holes on the device are fitted with nuts already so it screws in very nicely. Overall I think it’s a fair price for the design and it’s better than all other options currently available for mounting your Mac Studio. Paid for it myself and as a person who does not trust Amazon Vine (incentivized) reviews I thought it’d be a good idea to make my own. ... show more

Plenty of space up top to fit my disc drive, a small SSD, and my Magic Keyboard which I use for the Touch ID only. I really like this, it has made my desk less cluttered. The only reason I knocked it a star is due to the installation, if they provided a paper measurement guide, it would have made installing it a lot easier. Since they didn’t, I had to assemble it to correctly mark the hole locations, then un-assemble to be able to screw it in, and then assemble again. ... show more

Great under-desk mount for Mac Studio

Purchased this for an M2 Mac Studio. Install was very simple. Cords and buttons all accessible. Design seems flawless. Nothing has popped up that is irritating. Seems solid and got my computer off the desk, out of the way, and helped clean up my work area. I’d buy again.

I had a spare monitor arm and mounted it there. fit well, the Mac slide in easily but firmly. should have done this a long time ago. I have it sitting just behind my center screen, out of sight but now really easy to get to all of the ports and that Apple hidden power button.

Well made, hang or reverse to lift

Well made, sturdy and I haven’t seen it shown ior mentioned but is also reconfigurable. My photo shows that the arm/side brackets can be attached in reverse and act as a stand to raise the Mac Studio off the surface and provide more airflow beneath. In my photo the thin padding is up and the case is sitting atop it to dampen vibration and prevent sliding, and the lower vents go through the bottom hole. The photos show these arms normally in the opposite direction acting to allow hanging the case, however I wanted to show that this design allows more options and to me it’s an excellent solution giving the possibility of mounting in different ways depending on your needs. I highly recommend this product and I think it’s the best option available due to the quality and feature I illustrate in my photo. 👍👍👍 ... show more
