I got this for my wife. Here is her review: I normally wear a 1x but ordered one size up because I wanted some room and not for the skirt to stick to my body. The skirt is knee length and I'm 5'6" and weigh 216 pounds. I also have big hips so I like a big waistband, and it gives me a good shape. The material is very stretchy. I wanted a pencil skirt that could be dressed up or down- I had one, but lost some weight and it was too big. This is one of those skirts that (in my opinion) can be worn with a sweater and sneakers or a button down and heels. It’s stretchy and curve hugging, but not overly tight. It’s comfy and movers with you. I find it a bit long, but not to the point I won’t wear it- I’m 5 feet tall and 100 pounds, it’s just below my knees. I might hem it a bit to be above my knees, but like I said, nothing crazy or restrictive. It’s super flattering even though I don’t have any curve, and I imagine it’s even more flattering to those girls with hips and a curvy behind! This pencil skirt is a thicker, stretchy material, and it is pretty form-fitting. There is a small slit in the back. It is simple and functional, although my biggest complaint is I am constantly pulling it down because it wants to creep up my waist and legs. It hits right about at mid/top knee on me (I am 5' 7"), so it's borderline if you're looking for something at or below the knees. It feels like good quality material.
