We put it on our dog, and at first she seemed a bit put off by it, but after just a few days, she seemed to actually prefer wearing it, rather than being without it. Now, she's totally comfortable with it, and seems to actually not like it when we remove it. It's extremely adjustable, and VERY well-constructed. This vest worked out better then I expected. My dog seems to really like to having this on then his old harness. It seems more comfortable for him and even when we were on a road trip he did not seem as if it hindered him in any way in the truck, getting in/out, laying down in the back seat or laying down when we stopped somehwere to take a break. I will say 1 thing that is negative is that it does not breath for him, it was hot out as I live in AZ and even though we went up to the northern states where it is much cooler, he was pretty sweaty when I took it off so I would take it off from time to time to let him cool off a little better. I think its still good for the summer but this will be great when the weather is cooler. I am happy with this vest overall & I think he is too. ... show more

Sizing is a little off. Harness seems too long and my dog hates it. Other than that it seems durable. Also seemed like the amount of buckles/adjustment points were a little time consuming.

Great vest. Extremely sturdy. My Boxmas LOVES to wear it. Lost a star due to the plastic clips on the side. Ours broke 2 years in and I can't see a way to replace that clip. That being said, if I can't figure out how to fix this is I'm sure I'll end up ordering another.

Deducted one star for size issue. I measured my dog three times but the XL 6x girth stated at max 40” is too small for my admittedly overweight German Shepherd rescue. I later noticed the exact same Icefang 6x harness in another Amazon offer which states max girth at 39” so something is off. I suspect it might even be a tad less than 39”. That said, it seems like excellent quality so I returned it and ordered the Icefang 4x version in XXL which should take care of the problem, though I preferred the layout of the 6x harness for such a large beast. ... show more

Perfect fit for my 80lb 1yr old GSD. Very adjustable on my dog. The clips and latches are all very durable. Was very easy for my dog to get used to it. He enjoys it like a big hug. The sides make it nice for any velcro patches you wanna put on it.
