What a cool attachment for my Kitchen Aid. I chilled the bowl for 24 hours, made my ice cream batter, and churned it for 30 minutes. The top compression fitting slides on easily.     • Making ice cream is so easy!
NOTE - you must freeze the bowl in advance! (For some reason, people seem to forget this step) We used it to make a homemade custard and were able to quickly and easily get soft-serve consistency within 10 minutes. Portioned them out into half-cup mason jars and put them in the freezer. It's better than any store-bought ice cream! We hand wash this and then leave it in one of our deep freezers for when the need to make ice cream hits us. ... show more

So disappointed in this item. With other great reviews I was hoping to have an easy way to make homemade ice cream. The bowl was in the freezer for 3 weeks before the first use. I took it out and used it and the mixture never turned into ice cream. I thought it was strange that the liquid in the bowl was never frozen. I put the bowl in another freezer hoping for something different. After taking it out of that freezer almost a week later and giving it another try, the liquid was still not frozen. It leaks after storing in the original box for two months. When I took it out of box fluid leaked In bottom of box and spilled all over my countertop. It did it’s job before this incident in making ice cream
