Description

Ibanez introduced Artcore in 2002 and has been the hollow-body guitar of choice for musicians for the last 10 years. The Artcore's combination of quality workmanship and affordability has created legions of fans from diverse genres as blues, country, rock and jazz. Musicians can find the purity of an old school style jazz-box to a hybrid semi-hollow rocker. Artcore is highly respected for its tone, sustain and the way they hold their tuning and how the series continues to push the boundaries of guitar building.

  • Awesome sound! Totally hooked!
10/10 mind blown by the sound. Does have a floating bridge so need to have intonation set if you don’t now how to do it so it’s tuned properly. All in all 10000% worth it.

  • What a beautiful guitar
I got this as a gift for my husband. This guitar is stunning. The pictures don't do it justice. My husband has been coveting this guitar for quite a while, and he was not disappointed. It sounds as beautiful as it looks. Overall, the price is worth it.

  • Fantastic
Great guitar. Sounds phenomenal, especially for a jazz box under $1,000. Also looks beautiful as well. I’m very happy with it.

  • Great Value
It doesn’t have the tone of a more expensive guitar but it’s best in class at this price point. Deducted one star because mine had a ticking sound in the electronics. I was hoping to avoid the hassle of returning it so I called Ibanez. They said it could be several things so send it back. No problem getting a refund, and I bought another one. ... show more

  • Solid, good quality guitar
Great guitar for the money ... I play it all the time and I really enjoy it. Electronics and pickups are good quality and it makes a fantastic sound coming through a tube amp. Highly recommended.

  • A few notes about this purchase
I recently purchased this Ibanez guitar in the Flat black color scheme, and the guitar is absolutely beautiful. Looking at the picture it appears to have silver/chrome trim, but it is actually a gold color scheme. I purchased it as a beginners guitar after reading many reviews, and listening to it on video. For $449 I wasn't expecting the sound quality of a $2500 gibson, but I have to say that I wasn't totally impressed with the sound quality overall. I have played in bands before as a keyboardist, and I know what a quality guitar should sound like. Just be aware that there is a noticeable difference between a high end guitar compared to the lower priced Ibanez. Adding some quality strings and running it through EQ would probably help quite a bit. I also felt like there wasn't enough range on the volume and tone knobs. Overall, a decent guitar but I returned this item, and will wait to purchase a higher end guitar in the future. ... show more
