Review Image by Pastor Doug Vinci
At 63, I decided to try and teach myself guitar to play in church. Got some lessons and a cheap $150 acoustic. It was difficult going. A friend suggested if I was serious, investing in a quality instrument would keep me from getting discouraged. My Ibanez AEG70L arrived today. I was amazed at the quality of craftsmanship. It is well made and beautiful. To my novice ear it sounds great and the ease of playability is wonderful. Tuned it up fresh out of the box, and was ready to go. Well worth the mild investment. I am enjoying lessons and practice time immensely now! ... show more

Beautiful guitar, beautiful sound. I was iffy getting a guitar from Amazon because I couldn't hold it and play it first but this is a good size, the wood on the neck feels really nice, and it has a beautiful sound

    • A good guitar for the price
Color: Tiger Burst
This is a good guitar and would recommend it for a beginner / novice level player but you probably have that figured out if you are looking at this review ;-)

    • Amazing sound from a little guitar
Color: Vintage Violin
Great little guitar! Sounds amazing! It rings like a much more expensive guitar. Very clear plugged in. No static. On-board tuner is a great feature.

    • Great guitar value
Color: Transparent Charcoal Burst
This guitar is beautiful instrument. The action is really nice and the neck is super playable. It is thinner so you do not get deep base tones, definitely on a bit on the "tin" side. But the playability and built in preamp more than make up for it. The built in tuner is really nice too. When you turn on the tuner, it turns off the pickups. A really nice guitar for gigs. ... show more

    • Probably an okay beginner guitar
Color: Transparent Charcoal Burst
The construction quality and finish were fine, but the sound quality was below expectations. I watched some youtube videos where I was sold on the amplified sound, but as acoustic only it's super tinny. I tried to give it a chance, but I wa so disappointed aftet 5 minutes I put it back in the box and returned it. ... show more

... show more
