I got this iBlason case in anticipation of a new S23, to finally replace my aged, wonderful S8 Active (I wouldn't need a case at all if Samsung kept the Active versions going). The packaging and instructions were good, but I had already seen video reviews that showed installation and recommend looking for those. I ordered a separate tempered glass screen protector, so I can't speak to the one included with the case. The case worked with the third party screen protector just fine. The case is great, plenty of protection. I was down to this case and a very similar competitors and the deciding factor that pushed me to this was the corner bump outs. Not for their protection, which they certainly achieve, but I figure they make it less likely to slip from your hand. The USB port cover and buttons are the only stress points, but I see no sign of them breaking. It feels chonky in the hand, which some may not like, but it's fine. Very satisfied with the case. One issue with it: the protection is so good that the haptic feedback is muffled. If it's on a table or in your hand you'll notice it, but I've had it in the clip on in a pocket and missed notifications. As for the clip, I think most people don't use it, but I wear my phone on my belt and needed an included clip or a separate case. The clip is surprisingly sturdy. It's plastic, so of course it could break, but I don't worry about the belt clip snapping off the rest of it, as some other plastic clips are prone to do. Like the case, it's sturdy. The belt clip is roomy, so on a thin 1.5" belt it can slide around, especially if running. It doesn't seem like it'll come off, but it does bang around on my hip. The worst part of the clip is that probably 90% of the time my shirt gets caught in it when re-holstering. Previously I had a leather holster with a flap, and the flap would block my shirt from getting caught in the case. It's the worst thing about the entire design, because if you pull the material caught in the holster, it can pop the phone out. Definitely a great case, it met all my expectations and more.     • Fully Functional w/Features - great case for the price
Size: for Galaxy S23 Plus 6.6" Color: Black
PROTECTION: I've found it's rather hard to find a good case for the 23+ (specifically, the plus model), but this case seems to meet my expectations. I wanted something which would protect the phone and also provide some additional conveniences. The case is rugged, no doubt. Some may call it bulky, but to me, it's fine b/c I've used to larger cases. The corners are extra protected. The phone itself without a case is ultra-slippery but with the case, this is no longer a concern even though it doesn't have a completely encapsulating rubberized outer shell (just the perimeter complete with rubberized flap which goes over the USB-C port on the bottom). All of the buttons line up perfectly. -- FINGERPRINT SENSOR: Some reviewers have noted that the fingerprint sensor on the front glass does not work after the case is installed with the clear shield. To me, the shield is probably the most valuable feature and if I needed to give up the fingerprint sense for it, I would. For me though, the fingerprint sensor didn't ever work on the first try even without a case. The place for the fingerprint to be read on the case's clear shield does not align perfectly with the phone. In fact, its off-center vertically by quite a bit. I made sure I pressed the shield down on the phone (it seems impossible to remove all of the bubbles) and then reprogrammed my fingerprint and now the fingerprint sense actually works better than it did without the shield (even with the bubbles). -- REAR CAMERA PROTECTION: While there is nothing that covers the rear cameras, they are IMO recessed enough that unless the phone is dropped onto something with a raised area which will go up inside the case's rear camera recession, the cameras should be adequately protected. -- STAND: The case has a rear slide-out triangular stand. It is a bit difficult to get out having to use both thumbnails to get it to release. Once out, it seems maybe a bit thin, but rigid. Its only plastic and with use and subsequent wear, I suspect it will get looser (maybe too loose at some point). This is probably the only? downside to the case. See below about absence of belt clip stand. -- BELT-CLIP HOLSTER: I've used various cases over the years and this one is the closest to an Otterbox, although it doesn't have a completely encapsulating rubberized outer shell like some Otterboxes (it does have rubber on the perimeter though). The case comes with a belt clip holster which I've used with Otterboxes, but have since stopped because these belt clips usually break over time. This one seems sturdy though. I may go back to using it no matter how "geeky" clipping a phone to a belt it may look. I wish, like the Otterboxes, the belt clip latched open making it into a stand as well, but it's not designed to have a locking mechanism. The clip spring is also very stiff. The lack of a locking mechanism for the belt-clip would be the only other downside I've identified so far. -- OVERALL: Solid case for the price. Took a little while to arrive, but still arrived 2 days early. ... show more

i bought this one as i thought it will be better than my CaseBorne V "ArmadelloTek" for my S23 ultra as the caseborne in same level with my full glue glass screen protector from both right and left sides, so it'll not protect it if falled on edge unlike the aramadellotek for s21 ultra which was higher from the four sides and that's why i bout same one for s23 ultra without deep look. when i found the i-balson case i saw reviews and read carefully about it and i thought the inner plastic frame will insure protection for both sides of the screen protector as it's wider. i found not. it's in same level and hight of the protector exactly as the caseborne with the following notes: 1- grip is better in casebrone 2- outer case material feels much more protective in casebrone. 3- casebrone lining is thicker, softer to the back of cell phone. 4- i-blason case came with non screen protector preinstalled inner plastic frame in the case and the screen protector included one is separate. i spent around 10 min to deattach the inner frame from the case. it's too hard to do it while in caseborne it's much easier to install or uninstall the inner frame. after installing the inner frame on cellphone it was very annoying to put both inside the case coreectly. 5- i-blason case weight is lighter than caseborne. 6- my screen protector is six weeks old on phone and i nstalled the caseborne case without any problems while installing the i-blason cost me three big bubbles "not very close to the edge, leading to change the expensive screen protecor "couldn't remove the bubbles by any mean. 7- kick stand in i-blason is much better than caseborne which was very amazing in s21 ultra case but with s23 ultra's it's fragile and nned careful handling. 8- the angle of cellphone when using kick stand in portrait mode with i-blason is way better than caseborne. 9- i-blason case can be used for much longer time without pinky and ring fingers got numbness and my palm doesn't jurt while case corner in it unlike the caseborne which not comfy for long using in my case. 10- bottuns in caseborne are much better in every aspect, feel & press. also the chrging port cover isn't easy to pull down to attach cable, while caseborne is much easier as it has a thicker handle bar. 11- caseborne cavity for s-pen is more practical, protective and better design. actually, i reget buying caseborne case, and almost did for i-bladon but after about week of using i just think whatvwill happen when i had to replapce the screen protector as i'm almost sure it will be nightmare to take the frame out of case, replace protector and reinstall it. I believe it'll cause bubbles as last time but actually it's mush better in hand for a lob=ng period and can use my phone for extended time, pain free. i wanted armor and protective cases for all sides of screen but both let me down in side walls . but caseborne was more dissapointing. i'll keep using my i-blason but i may spend twice of its price for glass screen protectors. But as a price for almost full protection, i'll accept. If there was 3.5 stars i'd use it for i-blason, but here are 4 as it's not fair to choose 3. ... show more

Ok, truthfully I do NOT write reviews. 1. Because I'm lazy, and 2. Because everyone writes reviews anyways. So what's the point? There's so many of them. If I like it, I buy it again. If I don't I won't. Everyone has their own experiences with products and I leave it at that. However; this time I figured I would take the time to write this. I bought my galaxy ultra two years ago. I NEEDED a case that fit me. I needed one that was durable, reliable, and would protect my phone from my clumsy goober self. I was originally looking for ottor boxes knowing they have been the best. Well I just so happened to come across this one. I wasn't sure at first, but once I saw the case came with a BUILT IN screen protector I HAD to give it a shot. I WAS NOT disappointed! This case has truly been the best thing I have EVER bought to protect my phone. Again I have had my phone for two years, and I have had this case for the same amount of time. Two years. No I did not buy another one. (Although I do need to replace the one I have. XD ) I personally have not used the belt clip that it comes with, mostly because I'm just not into my phone hanging off my belt. So here's what's been amazing about it: 1. The case has held up for two years. 2. It still is protecting my phone so well despite the case having a few cracks itself. 3. I cannot tell you how many times I have dropped my phone, from how high I've dropped my phone, to what I've dropped it on, to how it fell. By now my phone should have scratches, and the WORST screen you would ever see. But THANKS TO THIS CASE my phone still looks, and functions like it's brand new!!! I couldn't be happier! 4. What had inspired me to write this lengthy review. This morning while doing my daily chores I had dropped my phone in a bucket of water by accident. My heart stopped, and sank. Thinking that this for sure would be what 'broke' the camels back. I pulled my phone out and rushed it inside. I pulled the case off and dried it immediately. Sure enough my phone is fine, like once again, nothing happened! I LOVE this case! Here is why I need to buy a new one. An the one thing that is a little annoying. The kickstand part to the case broke. Not the kickstand itself, but the tab you use to pull down the kickstand. I have used it and still use it alot! Its jist ALOT harder to pull down. 😅 mind you this has only happened this last couple of months. 2nd the only bad thing I can say about this case is this. My phone hangs out in my pockets alot. The little hole in the screen protector that goes over your camera tends to let in alot of dust, and it gets dirty between the screen protector and your phone. I don't mind it though. To me it's worth it due to how much this case has protected my phone from all the accidental abuse I have put it through. I have NEVER been that person that can buy those cute petite phone cases. I am far too clumsy, and far too accident prone to have that kind of cutesy, minimal case. So conclusion if you are like me with your phone. You NEED this case like now. ... show more

    • VERY-Impressive Phone Case

Spectacular case for my newer to me refurbished Samsung Galaxy S23+, coming out of a Samsung Note 9 with Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro for over 6 yrs. It took some time & research to find the i-Blason armor BOX but it has all the features I wanted like a built-in screen protector, power plug port cover, kickstand & belt clip. I shopped the Supcase (of course), Dexnor, Takfox & Poetic (and several others) but they don't make one for my S23+ with all my 'wants' which was a deal breaker. The i-Blason is remarkably similar to the Supcase in oh so many ways it's kinda weird. With the advances in phone technology in the past 6 yrs. I have now grown to luv the fingerprint security which is great on this case! I have found the construction and sturdiness of the unit itself is top-shelf! The corners are beefed-up & TPU edge is more like rubber than plastic. It really helps making it easer and more secure to hold, the kickstand (not real heavy-duty) is nice & convenient for scrolling and the belt clip is just awesome (if that's your thing). The backside has a raised protective edge around the 3 cameras lenes which tie in to some faux black carbon graphite embellishments & non-slip pads to help keep it in place on an incline or the car's console. The pull down finger nail edge is sweet for the times when you need to open the case up for service or cleaning! ... show more

    • Great case, but kickstand kind of sucks

I wasn't sure about this one since it is so rugged looking and I wanted something more stylish. It's definitely more of a masculine look but it's a nice-looking case. It was a little tough to separate the pieces to install it but I like that the screen protector part is easy to install - unlike some, this one just snaps on top, it's not that sticky film that's hard to line up correctly and without dust. It has a thinner area where your fingerprint goes, which is good because the fingerprint still works, unfortunately it leaves a big circle that's more transparent than the rest of the screen, which can get annoying. I'm hoping I'll get used to it but for photos or a dark background it doesn't reflect light like the rest of the screen so it stands out and bugs me. The kickstand would be great since you can use it in landscape or portrait and is very sturdy, however, it's REALLY difficult to open and close. It just has a small lip with a thin piece to pull on so there's not much to grab onto. I've been biting my nails lately so it's actually painful to try to pry it open, but if I had nails it would probably break them anyway. It's also hard to get it to bend to close back down. I mostly use it at home to watch shows while I do other stuff so I can just keep a coin or something nearby but if you use a kickstand on the go a lot it might not be practical. I'm undecided whether to keep this case at this point - going to give it a few days to see if the kickstand breaks in a bit (and, doesn't actually break like a lot of them tend to) and if I get used to the fingerprint bubble. It does seem sturdy with a good amount of material above the screen level and at the corners, so it seems like it would absorb the shock of a fall. *Update: There are a few spaces in the screen cover at the top of the screen, which you can't even really see until you try, and somehow some moisture or something got under it. Took off the case (it doesn't pop off as easily as others I've had, maybe that's good?) to wipe it off; the screen popped back on as easily as before but this time, I realized the fingerprint spot is sticky, so altho the rest of the screen didn't have issues with dust, the fingerprint part did. Now there's dust and bubbles on the fingerprint part so it doesn't work anymore. Ugh. I'm going to return it, if I can find the box :0 ... show more

I have had it for 3 years since April 2023. The phone case was superb military grade. I have butter fingers and have dropped my phone several times on several surfaces including asphalt. The fingerprint & biometrics works well. I would definitely buy again. Cons: 1)I could not get open the cover anytime i liked. I had to use a screw driver to get it open. It was that rigid. 2)Had issues with wireless charging and has never worked for me, with this case. I didnt mind it because it gave full protection. 3) The main reason I have to egt a new cover is that, after 3 years, the side rubber protecting the power button gave away (tore) and I am now having to pierce inside a hole to click on power. This is the BEST phone case I have ever had. I dropped my phone on the hard tile within 10 minutes of installing this thing, no issues, it just bounced and all was fine. Assuming you want to use 'biometrics' then you'll need to buy an ultrasonic screen protector separately, and install that rather than the clear plastic shield they offer--THE GOOD NEWS is they provide a face place that does not have the glass front as well, so you can used that with your ultrasonic screen protector. It's very nice that they offer both versions. The buttons work great, and it even has a flap cover that protects the power cord from liquid damage. This still has holes near the for the ear speaker, so it's not waterproof, but this would offer some serious protection against spills... just not water emersion. This is a rugged protector that has style--it's going to actually handle a real-world drop on the tile just like what I did and live through it. The back plate has a sliding piece that allows the phone to stand up in either portrait or landscape views. It's very hard to open for the first 10 times, but it does get easier with each use, so give it some patience and time, you'll be happy with it. I really like how the rubber sides let me grip my phone without fear of it slipping out of my hands. I just feel safer using the phone now that I have this... before I was scared I'd drop it... and with my tile incident, my fears were justified. Don't delay, go buy thing thing, you will have great peace of mind. ... show more
