This is an elegant looking and (almost) fully protective case. The built-in front screen protector is easy to remove, which is what I did since my phone already has a glass screen protector. Unfortunately, the clear back of the case is not as protective as I thought it would be. It's made of the same but slightly thicker soft plastic material as the built-in front screen protector. The four rear corners are raised to prevent the back from hitting, but that is if the phone sits or falls on a flat surface. For direct impact, something like a heavy object hitting the back, or the phone drops on its back on an uneven surface or worse, a rock, the front may be protected via glass screen protector but I'm not sure how much this case will protect the back from a center impact? If I had a phone with a glass back such as an Iphone 8, I believe there are other cases out there with solid backing and yet still wireless charging compatible. But for phones with aluminum casing such as an iPhone 7, this i-Blason Ares case would do very well. ... show more

I LOVE THIS CASE!! It matches my bright red IPhone SE perfectly! The case is a bit difficult to put on but only if you don’t read the short instructions (like me haha!) but that just means it’s more durable! I was hesitant to get a case that goes over the screen too, but oh my goodness this has been AMAZING. I have taken it in the shower and NO moisture got trapped under the screen, which has been the one problem I used to have with these types of cases. It fits flat, keeps my phone safe and clean, and looks cool! However, I have dropped it a few times and this hard, rubber case has protected the phone and kept it looking new. My wife doesn't use her phone very much but when she does is more careless than me, so I decided to get her the same type of protective case, but with a different color. Durability- solid! I have dropped my phone in this case a number of times and am so thankful I have it. It’s like a helmet for my phone, life saver! Bulkiness- I find the size of the case to be appropriate; it doesn’t make me feel like I have a huge otter box case on my phone but I still feel confident it will work Accessibility to buttons- the outer rubber doesn’t cause any impediment to accessing the different side buttons or power cord input 1 design flaw- this might be a personal issue but it’s got me close to buying another case. Again: it this didn’t happen I would have given it 5 stars but it has me on the brink of spending more money. I am an avid cyclist and I mount my phone near my bike handlebar so occasionally sweat drips onto the the phone. And like clockwork the droplet of sweat gets between the case and phone right where the space bar location is! It enters by the finger print button. As a result my space bar is deemed ineffective making it impossible to use the phone to text and difficult to take pictures and use other apps that require pressing down in that area. When I am riding it’s extremely frustrating because my two options to fix are 1) take off the case and dry or 2) let it evaporate. I always go with 2) because I don’t have the time to jump off and fix. Again- if I didn’t have this issue that is likely unique to the situation, this is a 5 star case ... show more
