Easy setup. Came in perfect condition. It's definitely for more docile lazy dogs. I wouldn't get it for large dogs that don't like crated. The doors/locks are too flimsy for that. But for small and medium dogs this works great. Looks nice too.

I love the look of it and the fact you have a side door and a front door. I bought the largest one since my puppy is a golden retriever and she can grow into it. Our Rottweiler loves it too lol. The Rottweiler tried adopting it since it's so huge, roomy and solid. Now the v only issue with it is the assembly, mostly that the plastic corner protectors weren't designed correctly so they don't fit correctly and fall off. They need to fix that part so it actually protects the upper corners from damage and protect everyone from getting hurt on the unprotected corners. But with the small negative, this is well worth getting. Just wherever you decide to place it make sure it's where you want it. This kennel is extremely heavy and you should have 2 people to assemble it safely. I assembled it myself and it was a pain at a few points since it's large and heavy. One other note, I have seen other wood/ metal kennels where the dogs can chew on and damage on the "wood" pieces. This kernel doesn't have wood areas exposed enough for dogs and puppies to chew up. Also buy a good dog bed/cushion so they can't dig on the flooring where they could eventually damage it. But again I say this is worth the cost and looks nice in a room as a piece of the furniture. We accrued have a cat tree stand on the top of it so the cat is up and away from the puppy, which the cat loves that lol. ... show more

This crate is the perfect size for my miniature dachshund. It holds both their bed and a pee mat. Definitely recommend for a more docile dog. It probably wouldn’t withstand a more active dog. The crate pieces were delivered intact, and it was easy to assemble even though there were many parts. I’ll definitely be grabbing a second one for my other dog. Update: We built all the kennels yesterday. All six have broken latches. The bolts that keep the sliding piece in just pops out. It’s not made for any type of use at all. The hanging rollers, knob pops out once it’s tightened down. These items are only made for looks. I’m contacting back tomorrow to see if they will refund partial to be able to purchase new locks or if they will send new locks. Will update with progress. This is a “pretty” kennel but that’s about it. I purchased 6 of these. I’m building the first one and 2 pieces are broken the bars are not strong and can bend easily. They want you to break down the kennel to replace the item. That’s a no go. Took me 2 hours to build. They will NOT send you the replacement pieces. Keep that in mind! I’m going to continue trying to build the rest but this isn’t going as planned and I’m not happy but hoping this will work out some way. ... show more

Only problem was one piece had the holes drilled on the wrong side. My husband was able to drill new holes where they were supposed to be. That was frustrating but not worth sending it back for a new one. It looks so much better in our house than his old one. Seems very sturdy. He hasn’t chewed or damaged it in any way (at least not yet). I would recommend this product. ... show more

With two people, it takes about an hour and a half to put together. Production definitely could have assembled more parts before shipping, lots of assembly that could’ve been done beforehand to save on time assembling. I was super excited about these, I ordered two - one for each of my dogs. One night as I was putting one to bed, the door literally falls to the ground. Really upset that it broke in a way that is not very fixable, and now I’m without a crate for one of my dogs while I’m at work tomorrow. For the money I paid, I expected it to last much longer than a month. I really wanted something nicer than the traditional metal crate. ... show more

    • Very nice crate but front gate does not open all the way

While this crate is looks great and was fairly easy to assemble, BE AWARE that the front gate does NOT open all the way. I have a 40lb pit that is able to get into the crate through this front gate with no issues, even though it only opens about halfway. Being that the front gate only opens halfway, there is not much play on it at all in case a child or unknowing person tries to open the gate all the way, which causes damage to the crate (as is what happened with mine). If you are looking for a crate with a front gate that opens all the way, this crate is not it. The price of this crate is not worth the front gate breaking/causing cracks on the frame due to this oversight in engineering. Pictures will be included when possible. As mentioned above, overall, this is a very nice crate and I recommend buying if you do not care about the front gate and prefer to use the side gate. ... show more

I bought two of the largest size crates for my two large dogs (black labs). They are roomy and more attractive than the wire crates we had been using. While we hadn't planned to use them as such, the crates are too big to be considered end tables, though pushed together, they make a nice long counter space, which fits nicely behind our sofa. It would be great if they came with a plastic/rubber crate tray. The ones we were using in the wire crates are about an inch too wide to fit and I'm having trouble finding ones that will. ... show more
