This case honestly rocks! It’s light, slim, and has a great feel to it, but MAN DOES IT STINK! I’m aware leather has a certain smell that one wouldn’t precisely define as pleasant but the one I got smelled like rotten fish, pee and something funky right out of the bag. And for weeks since i got it I had to explain all the time at uni why my laptop smelled like a yeast infection… I eventually had to risk it and wash it outside and inside with hot water and soap and although it did lose some of its sturdiness, now it smells great…

This is super flimsy and doesn’t seem protective at all. The pouch is also really tiny. It looks good, so I did leave a few stars, but if you are actually looking for a little extra protection, probably not the right product. At most, this is a pretty sleeve that will keep your device from getting scratched when sliding into a bag (about as protective as a pillowcase). There’s no pen holder either - which is fine bc not advertised as having one, but the Lenovo stock sleeve does and is much more substantial. Sticking with the sleeve that came with the laptop!

The sleeve works with the max book pro 14. The little pouch fits the mouse and laptop charger. BUT the sleeve is soooo incredibly smelly! It’s been 4 days and I have tried to air it out by the windy window, added a bounce sheet to neutralize and absorb the smell, kept it open without the laptop in it and it continues to be pungent. It’s not a nice item to walk around or carry because the smell comes with you and it odorizes the room! 0 stars for the smell. 5 stars for fit.

I don’t even know where to start. I trusted this company because their old laptop sleeves were AMAZING—thick, plush padding, soft felt interior, and genuinely protective. This? This is a complete and utter joke. The “padding” is so thin and cheap it might as well not exist. The exterior feels like it was ripped straight off a dollar store binder, and the interior? Forget about it. It’s rough, flimsy, and offers zero protection. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust this thing to protect my laptop from air, let alone actual bumps or scratches. It’s like this company took everything great about their old product and said, “Let’s ruin it completely and see if people still buy it.” Well, I did—and I regret every second of it.
