This mattress topper is comfortable and cooling. It makes me think I am sleeping on clouds but it is not lumpy it is flat. I took it out of the box and it fluffed up in about a hour. It has anchor bands on the corners so it fits and stays in place at night. After a week it has helped to relieve the pain in my back, I am able to sleep through night now. We got this to use for our camper bed. The size was a little bigger than our bed, as you can see by the picture. It stated on with no problems though when we slept or moved around. Warning: check your product in time for return! I'm hoping this review helps somebody somewhere. Too late to return. Stupid me hadn't taken it out of its box. Finally did and the pics show what I found. Supposed to be 60-80"; length is at most 75". I didn't see a way to contact the seller, even though they have an "Amazon page." Spent 30 minutes with Amazon customer service and the rep couldn't find any sort of contact # either. No web presence, just on Amazon. Rep said they couldn't help; it had been too long. He said my only recourse would be to contact my Chase/Amazon credit card customer service and try to dispute the charge. I suggested Amazon shouldn't do biz with companies like this. So then I called Chase. What gets really crazy is because of "gift card balances" and points back that we can never track anymore, as we used to, at the end of a credit card statement, what shows up on my statement doesn't at all match the product purchase information, so NOBODY can make heads or tails of what was actually purchased or for how much. Unfortunately for me, the dispute window with Chase/Visa had also closed, so I'm out $100 and I'm ready to cancel my Amazon Chase Card, too. I'll make one more contact to Amazon about this aspect and then I'll move to lose the card. ... show more

I bought this item to make a futon mattress more comfortable (softer) and was very disappointed. I started by going to the laundry mat to wash and dry this mattress topper in an industrial washer and drier that has 50% more room than a normal washer and drier hoping for maximum poof. The mattress topper only plumped up to 2 inches and was lumpy. I slept on it for two nights, and I woke up drenched in sweat. It didn't make my futon setup any more comfortable than what I already had going on and was better off using my overstuffed duck fluff comforter as a topper. In short, find something else. I returned this product. For Reference: I have a wooden futon, and I can not feel the struts underneath my 6" memory foam mattress which is pretty comfortable as is. I am 5'5" and weigh 180 pounds I tried this for 2 nights with and without a mattress protector with the same result. It is 50 degrees Fahrenheit at night where I live, and I do not turn on the heat until it gets to 40 degrees. A made-for-winter duck fluff-filled comforter poofed up to around the same size, wasn't lumpy, was more comfortable, and didn't make me sweat. ... show more

Really easy to put on pillow top. Our old one was yellowed and lumpy, this is a great mattress pad for the money. The deep pockets make sure it will fit on most any mattress. It’s not too bulky either, so my sheets went right over it no problem. Packaging was really compact. Definitely recommend leaving it out overnight as the instructions suggest.
