I’ve had a pair of these since that came out. The sound is pretty good with footsteps in games like call of duty or Fortnite. The sound is adjustable so when I play a louder same with explosions I can turn it down from the headset and it works pretty good. My first pair worked for about 5-6 years before the sound slider started to kinda tweak out and only have sound in one ear. But after 5 years I can say these things are worth it.     • Comfortable and good sound
This is actually the second pair I've purchased. The first pair really took a beating for several years before finally had to purchase another, They were sat on, stepped on, dropped and knocked around and still maintained very good sound until they were destroyed. The headphones are very comfortable and unlike some other brands, don't hurt my ears after hours of wearing. I can wear these playing my playstation, and thanks to the 3.5mm jack, I can also plug them into my Roku remote and watch a movie in peace while my wife works or is on the phone. The microphone is nice and clicks off when moved into the upright position. Even to the end on the last pair, i never had an issue with the microphone. ... show more

    • Great headset, mic started to die 5 months after
The headset is really comfortable and lightweight. Unlike some other headsets it doesn't try to squeeze your head off while it adjusts. The sound quality is great and the mic works wonderfully. I sound clearer to my friends and I can hear them while other sounds outside is reduced. However, about 5 months into using the headset it started to break down. The mic would no longer connect properly when it was pulled down. I am fairly gentle and care for the things I buy, so it shouldn't be starting to disconnect. I’ve repurchased these headphones three times already and love them so much. Only needed to use warranty once. When my warranty was up, I bought the new cloud stinger 2 and returned them so fast. I’m so sad they discontinued the original stingers. Glad I found them again but nervous for in the future when I have to find another! ... show more

I have two teenage boys that where these all the time. The older received these from Santa a few years ago and after an unanticipated experiment in the sliding door of a minivan - replaced them with the same model. Why - they work, the construction is durable, they can handle the cycles of on and off with one hand, the sound quality if good for PC as well as game consoles. The microphone is clear and does not have any lagging. The other younger son has gone through four pairs of different headsets, some much more expensive and some less and they all failed. Very poor manufacturing. Microphone transmiter located inside the left earpiece not at the end of the microphone boom. Functionality impossible to operate. Had to return the headset immediately.
