First impressions is I’m super happy with packaging an everything else but…. It didn’t come with a flux core driveing wheel for the wirer feed, so haven’t used it yet So gonna have to order that. Kinda bummed

Purchased this welder several months back and have done several projects with it . I only wish the power setting would go a bit lower for thinner material - had several blow throughs but just increased my pass speed and distance . I love arc start function - extremely please so far and time will tell . I will say that I will switch to a 2 lb roll instead of the 10lb it’s seems to hang sometimes but not sure if it’s the welder adapter or the spool . Overall this is a exceptional welder and I’m looking forward to trying the stick function on my next project and economy permitting the TIG .

Liked the screen . But the welder was horrible. I don’t know if they all weld this bad but I don’t plan on buying another one so I can find out !

The welding machine itself is a nice little unit. It has multi process capabilities with stick, tig, flux core, and mig functions. The controls are easy to adjust and do some of the thinking for you. The accessories that are included are a little cheesy. The ground clamp and wire gun ate not the best I’ve seen. There is no tig torch included and you will also need a gas regulator for mig welding. The machine itself is nice though and at a good price point.

So what I’m understanding of this Pro version is that it’s the easiest to set your welding parameters. Being a contractor for 20+ yrs I really needed to hone in on my welding skills for a couple upcoming projects so this looked like the one. My first weld (as seen in the pics) was TERRIBLE. I’ve since felt out and dialed in on a couple practice pieces and I’m REALLY happy with the results! This unit does a bunch of welding you can read in the description, but what you won’t read there is how this unit gets the penetration needed for a great weld. Which is what I need! I’m using flux core so I don’t have to lug those bottles with me. If your unit is going to be more stationary then make sure to get a regulator. Otherwise, use flux core or tig your way to a great weld. Thanks Hynade for a great machine! (Note: I work with some really experienced welders and they like this thing too)

I ordered this so we can teach our boys how to weld. It's a really nice unit! Definitely note that it can't weld aluminum. We were aware so not a big deal. All in all, this is perfect for what we are wanting - a really nice beginner unit. Worth every penny.
