When it came it was so THIN. Like I thought they’d just sent me a comforter, thin. I legit was like ok maybe it was a mistake? But we pulled it completely out and laid it flat over our couch for a few days and we’re pleasantly surprised at how plump and plush it got! It was still very thin though, no way this would change our hard springy mattress? ( we need it firm but comfortable firm you know? ) however….wow! We’ve only used it for a few nights and love it. I love that it was thin enough that it could still fit under our standard waterproof mattress cover and king sized sheets so we didn’t have to buy all new bed linens. It does make the bed MUCH HOTTER but we just switched back to summer comforters despite It being winter, no big deal! We are hot sleepers so we also put on a fan at night and it’s perfect! I’m really glad I took a chance because it was a great deal and you sometimes get more than what you pay for. Our mattress is pretty new and the proper firmness it just wasn’t comfortable if that makes sense? This did make it softer but without losing the support we so desperately needed. It was extremely simple to use and install and made our backs and everything else much more comfortable when we wake up! I sleep much better than I did before. Thank you for an awesome product! I've had mattress toppers previously and they usually last a couple of months and then find themselves in the garbage can, regardless of how much I paid for them, because they just didn't work for me. I recently purchased a new mattress and found that it was a little firm for me, so I was hoping to find a mattress topper that would provide a layer of softness that I was looking for. I am pleased to say that this mattress topper is perfect for me. The pockets are deep and easily fit my 14" mattress with loads of room to spare. The topper, now that I've used it for a couple of months, says fluffy and thick. There are no dips or bumps that have been created with my sleeping style. I am very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of this mattress topper. The way it is made, I expect it to last just as long as my mattress, which has a 20 year warranty. Does it cool? I'm a really hot sleeper, and still toss the covers off nearly every night, so I don't know if it cools, or if I'm just always hot. This is a mattress topper that I would recommend to anyone. This mattress cover is nice quality and very comfortable, but no where near as fluffy as it looks in the advertised photos. I’d still recommend it, but don’t expect it to look like a fluffy cloud lol!

This is a decent mattress topper. The feel of the fabric and piping detail look luxe. I will say though that it is not nearly as fluffy as it looks in the pictures. I bought it for my mom who needed some extra padding on her bed which is a little too firm for her liking and who recently developed arthritis pain in her back. She needed a soft surface to sleep on and spend time in bed on. She ended up buying herself a second mattress topper to put on top of this one because it just wasn't enough padding. Its soft and nice, and looks good, but it's not the super plush surface it's made out to be. If you just need a little boost this might work but I"m not sure what's going to happen to the filling once we wash it for the first time. It's not so densely filled and I'm thinking the filling might move around. I haven't given a review based on that though since I haven't tried that yet. ... show more

This is a very nice topper however it doesn’t help back pain. It’s plush but not 4” deep plush. If you’re looking to buy this to alleviate any back issues this won’t do it.
