I wanted the feel of a cozy hotel bed. I do not sleep well regularly but can sleep best in hotels...kinda funny, but lately true. The thickness is just right and the memory foam pad on top of the matress then the pillow pocket like topper keeps the foam from being aggravating. I can't sleep on memory foam mattresses but this cover is so cozy you don't even notice. You stiff get the support but don't notice the stiffness...if that makes sense. I love it.

Even this mattress pad/protector is pricier than others, I think the quality is worth the difference. Appears well put together and all seams are double stitched. Very stretchy material that will fit even the thickest mattresses. I washer & dried the white cover part as I normally would any whites and had no problems. There was no strange odors or chemical smells, but I always wash new clothes, linens, etc. before using. With proper care, this pad/protector should last for years to come.
