I bought this to add on top of our foam mattress topper I added to our new motor home to help soften the factory bed. the foam was making my hubby run hot and he didn't like the feeling of the contours it had either. So added this in hopes to help cool things off and get rid of the feeling of the foam contours. Ran it through the dryer on our "sanitize" setting to fluff it up which worked great. It did help keep the bed a tad cooler. As many mention it doesn't have a "cooling" effect, not sure why they market it that way. Its not cold when you touch it and will heat up with your body heat like any other bedding. There is no miracle fabric that will stay cold after you lay on it...maybe someday. The point is to allow for more air circulation, which it did seem to provide. He said he still got hot but it was much better. He just sleeps hot no matter what. The extra padding did get rid of the foam contour feeling, so that was nice I must admit. Although it didn't bother me I do prefer the smoother soft top. It added a nice softness and cozy feeling. Also we have a "king" bed in the motor home but its not a full king but also bigger than a queen...sigh...I swear they do this just to mess with you! I got the queen size topper and its a couple inches short of the edge but considering you don't generally sleep on the very outer edge didn't think it would be an issue, and its not. I was worried the king was going to be too big and hang over the edge, our mattress is really tight to the side tables so I didn't want to add more bulk to the width. The queen fit nice and snug over it just fine and the couple missing inches didn't bother either one of us at all. Just FYI if you are looking at this for a weird size RV mattress., a size smaller is fine - it has deep pockets that were plenty big enough to fit around and hold it on tightly. All in all, it seems like a good product, provided nice padding and air circulation to help make the cheap factory RV mattress something we can use for hopefully quite some time. Too many other expenses right now to worry about replacing the mattress, so a couple inexpensive toppers make it quite cozy.

What a great product! Our bed has never been so comfortable even though our mattress is new. This adds height and softness, and does not make us feel too warm like others we have tried. No more tossing and turning. Great value, too! Will be purchasing another for the guest room.

Very nice and fluffy mattress pad. As far as the cooling part, meh. I don’t really notice any cooling effects. But the pad is fluffy and comfortable. Fit our 14” mattress perfectly and doesn’t shift around. Recommend!

Adds Comfort, But Not as Plush as Expected This mattress pad does what it promises—it gives a soft, quilted layer that makes a firm mattress feel more forgiving. The fit is excellent; the deep pocket design stretches well and holds in place without shifting overnight. It also adds a touch of cooling, which is nice if you tend to run warm at night, though it’s not a dramatic difference compared to specialty cooling toppers. Where it fell short for me was in overall loft. It’s fluffy and pleasant, but not quite as “plush pillow top” as the product photos suggest. If your mattress is very firm and you’re looking for a cloud-like feel, this won’t be enough on its own. Another thing to note is that, while breathable, it does run warm if paired with thick blankets. That said, it’s well-constructed, machine-washable, and definitely improves comfort at a fair price. Bottom line: A good value upgrade that softens a mattress nicely, but don’t expect a hotel-style pillow top level of plushness.

Just received this mattress pad and was upset by how flat it was. I have got the EASELAND mattress pad twice and it fluffed up as soon as I opened it and it was super thick. So I didn't listen to the negative reviews and bought this one anyways and it disappointed me. But I put it in the dryer and it fluffed up some but not like it should. I contacted customer service and they are sending me a replacement. With no actions on my half. So I'm going to see if this one is fluffier. And I will update my review! But it is very soft. But seems thin. So I'm Hoping it doesn't tear in the washer. I got this on clearance I wouldn't pay full price for it. And the easeland brand is much better in my opinion ur for 23$ it's worth it I think. I'll update my review after I get my new topper Wow I have to say I am sleeping on the one I got that didn't fluff up right tonight while I wait on the replacement. And it is so comfy! It may not be as thick as the other mattress pad known. But it's softer! And like sleeping on air. I didn't think it would be this comfortable I'm impressed! Can't wait to see how I wake up in the morning. I co sleep with my daughter and I bought jersey cotton tight tight tight fitted sheets t go bed my pillow top mattress pad so there isn't any way she will get caught in the topper. And it feels great!

Praise be! I spent two weeks sleeping on a different Amazon mattress cover that had a slightly plastic underneath lining. I nearly died every night of heat exhaustion. This topper gave me the best night of sleep. It is cool and allows air to circulate. It is similar to using a sturdy quilted down blanket as a mattress cover, so a little fluff and you can feel the squares which I like. Be sure to wash and dry first and fluff it up. But this is a nice basic, not hot, topper for the money.
