Great instructions, but knowing what I know now, I would install the rim/hoop last instead of first. If you're not gonna play it for a while - take the batteries out because there is no off button that I see. The scoreboard randomly turns on. This product was provided as part of the Vine reviewer program, however, my reputation is not for sale. Please consider this an objective review. OK, OK - I admit to reaching for a title which would combine "best thing since sliced bed" with "more fun than a barrel of monkies." Apologize if I came up short or managed to insult sliced monkies... This round ball game is about 30" wide x 12" high x 15" deep with the mounts attached and metal rimmed baskets fully extended. The acrylic scoreboard is protected by a removable plastic sheet and is powered by 3 AAA batteries (not included). When the reset button is pressed, a short tune plays after which a 60 second count down timer is activated. Pitching one of the four 8” diameter inflatable basket balls (hand pump included) sends a signal to the scoreboard and advances the score for either Home or Visitor. While the timer runs, a string of LED lights circles each basket back stop. Periodically, a voice announces “three pointer,” although there doesn’t seem to be any correlation between the shot distance and the announcement. Chalk it up to ambiance. Player with the highest score when the timer runs down is designated the winner via a flashing score. Should the budding Shaq score more than 100 points in 60 seconds, only the last two digits are displayed – actual score is retained in memory to determine the winner. The game is well made and should be reasonably durable if not abused by, for example, dunking, despite instructions claiming each basket can be pulled down about 60 degrees. Personally, I wouldn’t chance it. Assembly can be challenging if you’re as ham handed as me – draft the kiddos or someone with smaller hands if possible. One extra of each small and large screw is provided should one of the originals skitter under the couch when dropped. A flat metal wrench is included to tighten the lock nuts. While useable, I broke out a socket set. A hex key was also included, although I never figured out its purpose. Some thought was given to storage since the baskets fold up against the backboard when not in use. A little more thought would have allowed to backboard to fold in half since it is hinged in the middle. Unfortunately, the scoreboard and center bracket prevent this. I vacillated between 3 and 4 stars on this game. Scores are advanced with what appears to be either a photoelectric or sound sensor. No delay is built into the signal so some baskets (and some misses) record more than 2 points. That’s bound to be frustrating to some users, not to mention the possibility of resultant arguments. One of the nets was entangled and after (too) many attempts to untangle, I ordered a set of eight 10” red, white and blue nets from Amazon. I think they look better than the originals. Ultimately, I came down on the side of “fun” and awarded 4 stars. Recommended if you can live with the (minor) annoyances. ... show more

The set itself is nice and will provide lots of fun, however I am missing 2 balls and the description says it comes with 4!!!! To add to that, one of the 2 I did receive has a hole somewhere I can’t find. These were just taken out the box right before I wrote this review. I would like to receive the other balls & a replacement for this leaking one. It is worth a 5 star but missing items bright the rating down. I will adjust if the situation gets rectified. ***Update *** I did locate the other 2 balls but still have 1 with a leak. This set is very nice for the money & I will recommend to others! ... show more

Hoop is easy to assemble and hangs nicely over the door. Set comes with double hoop, basketballs and pump. Balls were easy to inflate and have a nice feel to them. The hoop is sturdy and durable as long as there is no dunking. Great for any age.

I put this up on my home office closet door. Those are wide doors and this seems like it might be too wide for standard doors. I love having it in my office. My kids come to my office while I'm working and enjoy shooting a few hoops and spending a minute off time with me. Lots of fun!

The media could not be loaded. This 2 player basketball hoop has been in heavy use the last couple of days since my kids received it for Christmas. They absolutely love that 2 people can play and compete against each other. The light and sounds just add to the fun. I will say attaching the hoops to the backboard was not fun with the bolts and the included wrench. I got out the socket wrench and things went much faster/smoother. After that, this went together pretty quickly. The hoop is pretty sturdy and holds up to dunks (nothing extreme). We will see how long this holds up with my crew because they have made a mockery out of many a things labeled "military grade". I honestly think if the government ever wants something to be indestructible, they should sent it to my kids to test it out. The balls are easy to inflate and have so far held air well. Really glad that it came with 4 balls. The hoop is kind of a hassle to fold/unfold due to having to lock the spring in place. A fear of mine is that the kids may not lock it completely and it will snap back up and hurt their fingers or crack the backboard. So something to be mindful of. ... show more

Such a great product and lots of fun. My son's and I play and see who can make the most baskets in 1 minite and we have a blast. It's very durable and goes on the back of the door perfectly. Requires batteries for the score board to work but so worth it. The backboard is a see through plexy glass material and very strong.
