Works wonders. I had a bit of a hiccup with an m.2 drive not working but it was the drive not this devices so I wont dock a star. It connects and works with Windows 10 even though Windows is becoming an iffy OS to have these days. Well worth the money if you have multiple HDDs/SSDs while also having one or more m.2 drives. Installing was easy and straight forward. Noise under the games I play is drowned out by my older computer's cpu fans running overly fast and it's gpu fan's endless squeals. I can't say it's overly durable but it seems to be doing great. I've got it on a metal rolling tower stand, which seems to be helping it out. If I need another bay for HDDs or m.2s in the future I might get another one of these. ... show more

Currently attached to a raspberry pi 3B running omv with one 12TB HD. flawlessly, lil noisy tbh i dont mind it is almost like background white noise, it is compatible any USB attached storage, i am only using this as a backup to a truenas on a zimablade and the omv only runs snapshots and some docker applications. I did not care for speed since is only a backup of a backup. It was easy to install and functions as advertised. No issues i would buy again. ... show more

Bought this at HUGE discount (like new/used) at Amazon 'cause I didn't trust after seeing bad reviews. Drive system works just fine. May not be as fast as advertised, not consistently anyway, and did disconnect once, but with high quality USB-C cable and 7200RPM 12TB HDDs (2x), did a great job that were PROPERLY FORMATTED for the PC in the 1st place, reading, copying, and even archiving/cataloguing almost 12TB of music, pics, and video between drives and the PC, went off as expected, without any loss or real issues. Great buy, BUT, each drive appears separately (no RAID), you're limited to 10gb/s transfer TOTAL... MAXIMUM (between drives or computer),NOT PER DRIVE. Keep that in mind. It's a HUB... don't expect it to be anything else. Great, however, to use to keep pics, movies, music, and games (or game genres that are not speed intensive) on separate drives so you can keep them "offline" til you need them. ... show more

I really wanted to like this drive due to its NVME slot count. It is quiet and small enough to put just about anywhere but i have a hard time getting past the read write speeds. Speeds were far slower than with my external USB-C NVME enclosure also, several of my drives would not even show up but when i put them in the enclosure, they came right up and worked perfectly. I just got this after other storage solutions did not last a year. 1) Super quiet. Yes, the fan is noticeable but it's just a light hum. I got the 10 (6 bay) unit. It has two fans (I think they all do). As such, the fans don't need to be screaming fast. Just on. 2) Installation was super easy. 3) It seems well made, and instructions are super easy to use. 4) I like that fact that the power supply is NOT a power wart. That is, it uses a standard plug into my UPS. And could be replaced as it does not have a proprietary plug. For me, the transfer speed is not an issue and I am not going to test it. With the USB C connector I am sure I'll get good enough speed because I purchased this to use older SSD drives. So mostly multiple backups is why I have this. Really like it so far ... hope it lasts! ... show more

Enclosure worked well in the beginning, then began giving several errors. One of the nvme slots only reads sometimes. Transfer speeds have stalled to a crawl at best. Constantly having to reformat the drives due to issues. They disconnect and reconnect randomly. Do not buy. Unfortunately, I bought two enclosures for my setup and BOTH began having issues at the 90 day mark. Sent emails to the manufacturer and they have refused to respond. Do not buy from cenmate. EDIT: After this review the company finally messaged me via amazon and offered me a refund- only to stop responding and not actually refund me fully. ... show more

A very cost-effective case for SSD‘s. I have measured the speed using this case compared to internal SSD’s and while it is certainly slower than on motherboard SSD’s, the case does use the full bandwidth of the USB-C connection so you are getting maximum possible throughput limited only by USB-C.

Damn, where to begin. Welp I was in the market for an nvme enclosure but I wanted one that took 3 ssds since that's how many I have to dock, and I found this diamond in the rough. It's literally perfect. You could have x3 8TB drives for a total of 24TB of ssd goodness, and, depending on the model you grabbed, two 24 TB HDDs for a total of 72TB of storage. I'm more modest at 5TB total in the enclosure, and 8TB of storage in my motherboard for a total of 13TB ssds, this thing is amazing for what it does. Sure it's limited to 10Gbps but it's more than fast enough to move files in a timely matter! Jump on this thang as highspeed DAS, you won't regret it! 🥰 ... show more
