I've had two purple harbor freight HVLP sprayers that weren't very good this one worked very well all of the adjustments are responsive and it laid down rustoleum oil based thinned with penetrol and enamel hardener using the 1.4 MM nozzle like a professional did it.

Are you starting your journey in painting, and want to get controlled of you techniques and feel, and strapped for funds then this is, the base level hvlp spray gun, however there are some issues it doesn't hold any air, their are air leaks at the connection and the bottom air pressure adjustment know, also the gauge leaks huge amounts of air constantly turning my compressor on a while at rest. The fan that the 2 guns have when spraying is not very wide and has a ugly plum to it at the end of the fan stepping back an extra inch can help a bit but causes a rough first layer. And can easily run your paint, so trigger control is key, and adjustment knows do little to affect your fan size and pressure l. All in all it's a low cost gun. But with some practice you can get a clean enough spray to get your job done

This is one horrible POS! Do not buy this gun! No matter what tips you use or how you set it up, it blows chunks of paint everywhere and will not stop bleeding paint out of the tip, even if your currently spraying. 10/10 would recommend rattle can over this garbage

I planned to paint an old riding mower I have and I wanted something better than a spray can job. This sprayer seemed like just the thing and it didn't break the bank either. It went together easily, which is good because the little booklet it comes with is pretty much worthless. I liked the disposable cups as it can be a real hassle cleaning these guns, especially when using oil based paints. They also have a built in strainer in the cup, which is great. The Fan, Fluid and Air volume adjustments all worked well and and the gun put out a good pattern with everything I tried from water to thinned latex to unthinned oil base paint, the pattern was good. The only problem I had with it was that even with the trigger released, air would never completely shut off and some was always was leaking through the gun. The air valve seemed to work good but would just not shut off totally so you needed to disconnect it from the hose or it would drain your compressor. I was able to change tips easily and I loved the fact that is seemed to come with everything to use, clean and maintain your new gun, but the leaking thing was not good at all. The leaking is why I deducted 1 star. Other than that, it is a pretty god gun and is definitely is a step up from spray cans! Also, as a helpful note to the seller, maybe you could redesign your box graphics a little because things like "Low Voltage and Durable" and "Delicate and Full" really make no sense at all on a paint spray gun package and this cheapens your otherwise good product. .

Had issues from the start gun would not adjust even after trying all 3 different needle and nozzle sizes and still could not get a good pattern or a even flow all it done was spit and spatter. Only reason it's getting 2 stars is the cups with the quick disconnect and disposable liners with built in screen those are really nice
