My wife loves these, they clips towels to the boat rail like they are supposed to, we store them on a grab handle in front of the passenger seat at helm position that is the same diameter as the rest of the rails on our boat. We use these on our tritoon to help hang/dry towels. These are great sturdy clips!! I've also used these on cruise ships to hold towels on the chair when it's windy, and to clip things on chairs also.

These things are great! My worry was that they looked “gimmicky” and probably of poor quality. However, I have used them daily over the past two months with not a single failure. And they perform flawlessly, even under way at 30mph though not in direct wind. A good purchase.
