I read reviews from other sites online saying this bunched when walking. I don’t have that issue, perhaps because I’m using these in standard shoes and boots, not rain boots. My opinion is that it might bunch in a typical rain boot because of the nature of a standard rain boot. When you walk in a rain boot it’s different than any other footwear. Rain boots usually need to be roomier because rubber doesn’t stretch and most don’t have zippers, so it’s necessary to design a rain boot with a wider shaft to get your foot through the shaft into the footbed. My opinion is the extra room and therefore movement of the boot when walking, may be the cause for this insole to bunch up for some people. Again, this was not the case for me. These fit absolutely perfect in all the shoes/boot I bought it for. As reference, I bought an 8 and most of my shoes are 8-8.5. They are excellent quality for the price and not only will keep my feet warmer, but feel incredibly comfortable as well. Flawless shipping. Very Happy. ... show more

I hate to be the only person who completely disagrees with every other review but I had to warn other people. I bought these to go in my new low top hunter original boots. The photo I’m attaching shows the insert that came in the shoe and the wool insert I purchased here and you can see the big size difference even though both are a size 8. The insert is way bigger. Have to return unfortunately but still want them because otherwise good quality. It says hunter is who is selling them at the top of the amazon listing yet when I went to the return page it says sold by Zappos, so I guess watch for that. **revising my review because I tried them in my tall original hunter boots and they fit perfectly. The short boots are the Chelsea original so beware of that. ... show more

I bought these to make my Hunter tall boots a viable winter boot because the tall sock isn't enough insulation. These inserts are soft, warm and fit perfect. They're so great, I bought another pair for my Sorrel slippers with a worn out, stinky foot bed because Sorrel doesn't sell a replacement. Worked out better because the Hunter sheerling insert is better than the original Sorrel slipper insert. I will probably buy another pair for my short Hunter boots! ... show more

The Hunter's shearing Insole fits nicely inside my Hunter boots - soft and comfortable. However, if I put on my Hunter short boot socks with the addition of the insole, it is a bit snug so either I just use the insole or the socks but cannot do both.
