  • Nice product, can't go wrong
Size: Large/X-Large
Hss, worth the money.
Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2023 by Came on time, couple pieces were bent, box was absolutely mangled. It's definitely not a contractor quality lift. I hope it lasts through the job I'm on. Spent an hour straightening the arms out. The extensions are a solid inch higher than the main lift. But for the price🤷 I guess you get what you pay for. I'll spend the extra 500 on another nice one after this job

  • Fits great
Size: XX-Large/3X-Large
Had trouble finding a harness that fit comfortably that wasn't $140. This is by far the most comfortable I've tried.

  • Need better size options
Size: Small/Medium
I have an XL/2XL that needed to be replaced due to age. Along with age, it's never quite fit me (female) correctly and is too long in the torso. At 5'7" with all the straps shortened, there's about 2" of slop in the length if I dont wear all my winter layers. I bought a women's style of HSS and hate it even though it fits better (too much unnecessary fluff for hunting). I bought the smaller men's size hoping that would solve the slop issue in the length and it fits perfect... if I let all the straps out all the way and put it on over pajama pants and a t-shirt; it's not fitting over hunting clothes. I don't know what size men the medium is designed for but it must be for someone about 5'0" with stick thin legs. Quality wise the HSS harnesses are great but I finally ended up with a Muddy because it fits correctly with any clothing choice and minimal effort. ... show more

  • Great value for the money.
Size: Large/X-Large
Been using this for a month now and have not had to use it for life safety, but used it enough to review it. First off, this harness is a tad bit on the heavy side compared to the included fall harnesses that came with my various stands. The reason for this seems mainly to be the sturdy rubber coated steel buckles, which are the same reason that I like this harness so much better than the cheap ones that are included. I don't have to step through any loops or adjust anything. Once it is adjusted initially for your body, you're done. Put it on like a vest, clip the chest together, then snap each leg strap on like a seat belt and you're ready to climb. It's very comfortable to wear all day once it's on, in fact I routinely forget I'm wearing it and forget to take it off at the truck. The instructions tell you to test it by hanging from it. I tried that, and the safety fall arrest system was making some ominous sounds and I was afraid it would tear so I aborted the test. I want to save the fall arrest stitches for when I really need them, though I hope I never do. I love the convenient lineman loops on each side. They make installing steps and hanging stands a snap and they don't seem to get in the way the rest of the time. I use a rope style tree strap with prusik as a lineman rope and it works wonderfully. I've had my full weight supported by the strap and linemans loops many times, and in fact I also climb trees with climbing spurs and I no longer use my old linemans belt as I prefer this harness. Aside from the weight the biggest drawback is the noise. Whatever the shoulder pads are made out of makes a rustle when I move in the stand. It's louder than the bare webbing of cheaper harnesses, but also more comfortable. I've not used anything more expensive than this to compare that aspect to. I usually wear it under a fleece or hooded sweatshirt or jacket depending on temperature, and once something is over it it's silent so the noise is only an issue for warm hunts. That's the main reason I took off one star, it seems like they could make the shoulder pads out of a quieter material without much difference in cost. I'm 5'11" and 210, and there is a lot of adjustability in both directions. I keep mine on a hanger in the back of my truck with the buckles latched when I'm not hunting, which keeps it from getting tangled and makes it very quick to put back on. I left it in a heap once and it took a few minutes to get it untangled so I figured out not to do that! I also really like the drag loop on the back of the waist. Haven't used it to drag a deer but it will pull a sled of equipment or other stuff pretty well. For the low price compared to all the other decent harnesses, and the hunter safety brand name this harness is a great deal. For the price and ease of use, there is absolutely no excuse not to use one anymore. I'd buy this one again in a heartbeat and I recommend it to my friends. ... show more

  • Convenient and effective
Size: Large/X-Large
I have purchased four of these over the past two deer seasons. I have bought two for 13 year old new hunters, one for myself and one for my Dad. The convenience is the biggest value for me. The kids can figure it out on their own as opposed to some of the older style harnesses that were like a Rubik’s cube. My Dad will wear this also because it is so easy to throw on. Pair this with a lifeline of some sort and it makes for safe and easy treestand hunting. ... show more

  • Saved my life!
Size: Large/X-Large
I bought this harness, along with the safety rope last week. I installed the rope on my stand the same day it arrived. A few days later I had to make some adjustments to my tree stand. I had used an extension ladder to release first the ratchet strap holding the brace arm to the tree, then climbed higher and released the strap holding the seat to the tree. I leaned out too far from the extension ladder, and in soft ground, it shifted and fell away from me. The harness and rope did their jobs before I could even process what had happened. Thank God for this setup. I was alone in the woods. God knows that I would have had a very bad outcome without it. ... show more
