Finally spent the money on bedding... I finally understand why synthetic down feels so little like the feather pillows I'd experienced. Feathers are not down. The cheaper "down" pillows I tried before were filled with a lot of feathers.These do not. These pillows contain only a small amount of feathers for head support. It's so... Cloudlike, but with the heavy settling that's reminiscent of the softest memory foam. But with more support, because it's not memory foam. All that said, this is my first step into the higher end of pillows, so I don't have as much nuanced understanding within that grouping... But if you're like me, where you're just trying to figure out if you should drop the bucks to make the leap into higher end bedding: it makes a difference.

I like to slightly bunch or roll my pillow under my neck and have the rest of it support my head without being too bulky. This pillow is perfect for my needs. What can I say, I love this pillow! I have been searching for the right pillow for literally the last couple of years. I spend and spend and have tried nearly everything out there. I've spent over a hundred dollars on a pillow in the past, and they fell flat within a short amount of time, so I was hesitant on doing so again, this time with this pillow, but after the reviews, I took a chance. When it arrived I quickly gave it a squeeze and was suddenly disappointed because I was expecting a firmer, thicker, pillow, but I put it on my bed. Man, was I wrong! This pillow supports me like no other pillow has ever done, both on my side and when on my back or stomach. People kept saying you have to crunch it up at times to the position you're in, and that's true, but it only took a couple of nights to figure that out and now, I do it without even really noticing. All the other pillows I've accumulated over the last year, about 6 different styles, are now gone from the house and I have this one pillow on my bed. I can't wait to put my head down on it every single night. It just feels so damn good when your head hits it. I have finally ended my search. I'll be ordering a second one this weekend when I get home from the road :)

So, I love down pillows. It’s the only thing I sleep with. But, every other pillow I have purchased eventually just goes flat and feathers start poking out. And then I go through the whole process over again of purchasing another inexpensive feather pillow just to have the same thing happen. Frustrating. And then I found this pillow. After reading all the reviews on Amazon, I pulled the trigger. Let me tell you this pillow is worth every penny! It’s like sleeping on the best thing I have ever put my head on. Not one feather and I guess that’s due to it being down and not like the big feathers. Nothing pokes at you and no feeling of crunchy or something stiff like a feather pillow. Just amazing. And it stays soft, full and in shape all night long. I’m not up 3 or 4 times a night trying to refluff it. It literally holds its fullness all night. It’s like wrapping my head in a cloud of joy all night. And the best part, it stays cool! My head isn’t sweating. I don’t really have a sleeping position. I’m all over the place. I guess if I have to pick one, I’m a side sleeper mostly. I purchased the King size and it’s perfect. I would recommend this to most sleepers. To me, I think the standard would’ve been too flat. Now for the only slight complaint. It’s not machine washable and it’s highly recommended to get a pillow protector. For this price, it would’ve been nice to include it. Bottom line! I know it is a lot for some to spend on a pillow but if you really have struggled like me to find a pillow, this will be the last one you purchase. I am very happy. So happy that I’m thinking of purchasing another one.
