Do NOT purchase this dirt bike. What a scam. The first one we got came completely damaged, missing the battery, charger, and pieces to assemble. Then we had to send that back and get another one shipped out. Once we received that one, the battery did not work at all. We charged according to the manual and it lasted for 5 minutes only going 5-10 mph then died. We tried recharging and it never worked again. Sending it back. Cannot advise enough to not waste you time on this.

Gave this product to my nephew. He already had two of the razor mini bikes. The CR8-R is faster and better performing due to the larger wheels and rear suspension. My sister-in-law loves it as her son is more visable in the neighborhood. Kids in the neighbor hood have their own mini-bike gang now!

This vehicle does not even work on grass. The advertisement says nothing about that it should only run on hard, flat surfaces. When you receive it there is even a huge picture on the box of the truck driving on grass. However when ours didn’t work on grass when we were well within the weight limit and size for the vehicle we were told it’s because it’s meant for hard surfaces. Very deceiving advertisement. Then the seller wanted me to pay to return the defective car (which cost me $178) and they advised I would be charged a restocking fee since the car was put together and used. Well unfortunately you cannot determine if something is wrong with it unless you put it together to try to use it. I had to file a claim with Amazon. The seller wanted me to immediately go through a warranty process/claim for probably a refurbished device when I had just bought a brand new one and I was not willing to do that. This car is crap and the seller will not take accountability for their products. Do not recommend.

Mom and Dad got this for my son, after my son's friend got a motorcycle. But this motorcycle is so much bigger and better then his friends. This one is lithium battery and runs for ever and recharges so much fast then the other brands. Well worth it...

Purchased this for my son’s birthday. It never charged up so I contacted Huffy. They sent a new charger and that didn’t work. Before they’d send me a new battery they requested I take it to a battery store to verify voltage. It was of course a bad battery. Huffy doesn’t have any batteries in stock for 4-6 weeks. Bummer to give this for a birthday and my son couldn’t even ride it. Then get a runaround to try and fix it. The bike itself is nice. Can’t say how it rides. Only negative from what I see is access to battery to charge. You have to remove the seat each time. The plug in connection is too difficult for my 9-year old to carefully pull apart without pulling wires. I prefer the Razor’s ability to just plug in and charge from the exterior of the bike.

The media could not be loaded. We purchased a bike and when it arrived, it did not turn on. We tried working with Huffy customer service to get them to troubleshoot it with no success. They sent us a new controller, but it still didn’t work and then they said the next step would be a battery however they weren’t in stock for several months, which wasn’t gonna work for us so we had to return the bike to Amazon. Would’ve appreciate, a replacement option. Very poor customer service from Huffy.

I have been searching for an electric dirt bike for my son for quite some time. Many of our neighborhood kids have the Razor mx650 but I did not want the old school lead acid batteries so I went with this bike because of its lithium ion batteries. The bike came neatly packed in the box with all accessories and the assembly was fairly straightforward. Only needed to put the front fork, front tire, and a few plastic covers. However, the metal rod that connects the front fork to the bike cage was severely bent and could not go through the hole without me having to hammer it straight. No a big issue, but I think that was a manufacturer defect as the box was undamaged and the metal rod was already partially attached to the fork, so the bend must have happened at the manufacturer and not during shipping. After the assembly, I went ahead and plugged it in to be charged, and this is where I noticed the biggest let down, and the reason why I am not giving it a 5 star rating. To charge the bike, you have to remove the seat, disconnect the port from the battery, and plug the charger into the battery port. This is a big miss as I think this bike deserves a better charging solution. It will get very old having to remove the seat to charge the bike every time. Another minor letdown is the seat. It's actually HARD PLASTIC. Now for the ride experience, this is where the bike shines. It is SOOOOO QUIET ... the hub motor is barely noticeable. The suspension is ... meh, nothing to rave about but my son only rides it on pavement so it's not a big deal. The fat tires are absorbing a lot of bumps which makes it for a more enjoyable riding experience. The battery indicator screen is bright and easy to tell how much battery life you have left. I do wish it had a speed indicator, but not many other bikes in this price range do, so it is not a big deal. The battery seems to be able to go pretty far. We have not tested it exactly to see how long, but we did take it on a paved trail and went for over 30 minutes and only lost 1 bar, so I would say I am pleased with the range. We are getting a lot of compliments about this bike and I am very happy that we picked this one over the Razor one. Now, I need to save money to buy another one for my daughter.
