Solution 1: Use a leveling tool to check the surface where 9011G is placed. If it's not level, adjust or change the position. If it still flashes when level, let us know. Solution 2: Tripod placement may be unstable. Place a flat board underneath or switch to another mounting option. Always ensure the device is on a stable, level surface before use.

Good instructions, easy to use tool that just does what it says. Very easy to set up and get a good horizontal and vertical datum especially if one uses the built-in tripod mount to place on a tripod. Fine indoors but not really bright enough for outdoor use unless in deep shadow. I actually purchased this to set up level foundations for a 40ft shipping container in the expectation that if I used it at dusk or even at night then placed in the middle of the 40ft area it would have enough range to be usable. Under those conditions it's actually fine for the full 40ft or more. Recommended.

We purchased this laser level because we couldn't get over the PRICE SHOCK of laser levels from the box stores. We have considered purchasing one for years and we thought for this price it was worth a try. We used it primarily for a shower tile job. We had a hard time perfecting the level and would have liked a more detailed owner's manual. We realized it worked much better to sit it on solid surface (like a box or ladder steps) and then just move it up and down as needed. We need more practice with it, but we feel it was a good value overall. We found ourselves checking (just to be sure) with our four foot old school level, and the laser was right on target (after we learned to use it). For instance you can't just put the laser on a tripod, set it 10 feet back from your project and tilt it up and down as you go up the wall. It can only be tilted 4 degrees and beyond that your overall project wont be level on the sides. Its hard to explain, but there is a learning curve. If you are looking for a good laser level for the right price...don't be afraid to buy this one.

I purchased a similar laser level a few years ago, but it was the red version and although it still works excellent it is a little hard to see inside on bright days. I started a large house renovation recently and decided to go with the green version this time. I was definitely not disappointed. This laser level far exceeded my expectations. I've been able to use it in the brightest locations inside with no trouble whatsoever. It is easily visible in the daytime inside. I can't say for certain that it would work as well outside (I haven't needed it for any exterior work yet) but for indoor work it is perfect. I haven't noticed any inaccuracies either yet, which I was a little worried about since most of the green laser levels like this are easily twice the price and upwards.... But it has been more than acceptable for all of my needs, laying out cabinets, marking walls and trusses for hanging furring strips, and many other things. I checked it with a 4' level as soon as I received it and it was absolutely spot on. Based on my experience I would highly recommend this laser level, I'm sure that there are a few bad ones out there and I probably got a better one (you know how electronics quality control goes......) but I have nothing I can complain about with this laser, it has worked absolutely flawlessly and saved me A LOT of time and trouble.
