Needed to pick up a new 360 laser as my current one just died, decided to try this Huepar because I have been so satisfied with the 'Fine-tuning Bracket Laser Level Adapter' and a few other tools from them that I have added to my toolkit. I have to say that for the price this laser is an absolute steal. It comes with a hard, padded and seemingly waterproof carrying case, a rechargeable battery and some other accessories including the micro-adjustable base. From my first impressions this laser seems to be of the same quality as other more known brands like Dewalt whose comparable laser costs $450 here on amazon. The laser is much larger than I had expected and feels very well-built, the laser lines are incredibly bright and the calibration appears to be spot on. I may add some photos in the future and will update this review if I become unsatisfied with the product at any point down the road. Currently, I am extremely happy with this laser. ... show more

The beam is super bright green. I find it pretty easy to use. The important thing to know is, it will beep when it's more than off 3 degrees from a flat surface because it can't correct that far. So if it's beeping it's in self-centering mode. Overall a great product so far!

I own another Huepar laser (2D - 902CG) as well, so I am writing this from some experience with the brand. The first LS03CG (3D) that I received was packaged poorly from the shipper, and when I went to try it, the lasers wouldn't release when I unlocked them. So obviously something happened in transit. I returned it and Amazon promptly sent a replacement, which came with some bubble wrap this time. Starting from the top - its nice to have a hard case with this laser. My other 2D laser came with a cloth case that wasn't really useful. The case does need some sort of way to keep the batteries and charging port & cord in their respective places however. If the case is bounced around, the 2 batteries, the charging port and USB-C cable will free range. Maybe this is what happened to the first one I received. It would be easy to put a piece of foam on top of the batteries and keep them put and I will most likely do this. I have other things around the house that now use a USB-C cable so I don't really need to keep it with the laser, as I have one somewhere. The 2 rechargeable batteries are great to have with this laser. I have only had it for a few days, but they charge quick and I imagine they will last a lot longer than AA's, as my 2D laser eats them up, and was my biggest gripe about that one. The battery is a bit difficult to attach and disconnect from the laser - so much so - you feel like you are doing something wrong. But I'd rather have a nice tight fit - and a battery that doesn't come loose or fly off if dropped, etc. The dust cover for the charging port on the laser is a bit difficult to get open as well, but again - I much appreciate the tight fit. On the laser itself there are 3 different buttons to select between the functions. Horizontal, Vertical and Pulse/Power off. Having these options are great - as my 2D laser has only one, and you have to cycle through all the options. Inside the house - the laser lines are crisp and easy to see with the green beam. Outside in the daylight of course they are not very visible, but if you get the laser detector from Huepar (I have this as well) it easily picks up the beam on Pluse mode during the day. I tried the laser out at night too - and it was throwing a very visible beam two houses down in different directions - without being a creeper and measuring - I'd say it was 200+ feet away. The case of the laser is "ruggedized" with some sort of rubberish material on all the corners of the laser body - except for the actual laser housings. I haven't dropped either of the lasers I own from Huepar, so I can't speak to how durable they are in that aspect. I wish the magnetic bracket it came with had a micro or fine height adjustment, but if you have an adjustable tripod and some patience - you can accurately dial the laser in to where you need it to be. Overall - I think this laser is a great deal - and if you look - there's usually a coupon or discount available on Amazon for any of the Huepar items. The level itself is an improvement from my last level in every way. The batteries are nice too. Still haven’t gotten down to two bars and used it for a couple hours. One quirk for me was it was really hard to charge the batteries. The dust cover is impossible for me to open with my fingers. Had to pry it open with something. It’s not a big deal I guess but this thing does t need to be water proof. I’m. It going to leave it out in the rain. I’d rather be able to charge it without much effort. The case is super sturdy. I wish mine came with a foam insert like some of the soft cases have. The level is a beast. Easily on par with bigger name brands. I used glasses that made seeing the light easier in the day but indoors for sure it’s no problem at all. ... show more

This laser level seems to be very well built. The green lines are so much easier to see than the red ones. I use this almost every day for work, and I haven’t had one problem with it yet. The lithium battery pack seems to last a long time compared to the ones that use regular AA batteries. Also the hard case keeps it very well protected. You can’t go wrong choosing this laser level, it’s a steal for the price. One thing you might want to get, if you don’t have one, is a 5/8” adapter for your tripod, since it doesn’t come with one ... show more
