I am a fan of Huepar. I have been a fan of theirs since I purchased my first Huepar product years ago, and I keep coming back for their growing line of advanced tech tools that I use in my woodworking life. This particular self-leveling laser level is a new one for me because all of mine have involved the gravity plumb bob style leveling. I had to pair this up with my traditional level to see just how accurate their electronic leveling system is. I found that this unit produced a perfectly accurate, high-quality line with so much less hassle. Using the gravity-controlled unit is challenging when the wind is blowing or when walking around it. This one is able to filter out the noise and maintain a visible, solid, and accurate level iine. The whole kit comes in a great quality hard case with everything you need to get going. I really like the power tool style battery that they have moved to because it lasts forever and is easy to swap out if you need the level for days without turning it off. Overall, like all of Huepar's products, this is an excellent value for the money because you are getting a top-of-the-line product at a bargain price. I dare anyone to compare this laser level to the major brands you can find because you will end up getting this one and sticking with it. Value for the money is through the roof.

Not bright enough, returning. I could not see the laser on a site from 20 foot away. Unfortunately not bright enough and seemed like it did not hold a charge very well. 4 bars, down 1 bar in half a day. My Milwaukee goes half a year without need charged.

Really cool device to have in general. It's capable of lining up multiple vectors, and fairly accurate. It comes with a few accessories as well. Here's why I removed 1 star. The plastic feels cheap, the plug adaptor for the USB cable doesn't align well (an issue on cheap products). For the price, I'd expect higher quality, even if that means fewer accessories. Overall, it's not bad but it does become difficult to recommend over other competitors on the market.

I'm very impressed with this so far! I own a CTS 5-laser and a $150 Bosch in addition to handfuls of bubble levels. This electronic laser level is by far my new favorite! It isn't quite as nice as the $1k+ lasers, but pretty darn close! The case is the first thing I noticed. It is a solid case and much better than the soft cases. It will protect the level well enough for some wear and tear. You can tell the quality was cut a little to keep the price down; the plastic is thinner, latches are plastic, and there isn't a seal to make it waterproof. Installing the laser is easy with a tripod or the magnet mount. I actually really like the magnet mount. It is very strong when hung on my steel cabinets; I can hang power tools on it as well as the laser. It does stick to the steel corners on drywall walls, but it isn't very stable there. Snapping it to a fridge will be incredibly strong. The mag base also has an adjustment knob to move the laser up and down. The battery is convenient since I can charge it with a USB C. Very convenient. The battery life is also long enough that I haven't written it out yet. Once turned on, you can hear the motors whiring as the laser levels itself. The laser beam is awesome. I checked it roughly 20' out, and it is dead on. Add compared to other lasers, the beam is awesome. I didn't know how to describe it, but the beam is roughly 1/16" thick even at distance. The beam is also very crisp and uniform making precise and accurate measurements below 1/8". Many beams are bright in the middle and sun at the edges which makes for a difficult measurement; but this is crystal clear. Considering how simple, fast, and effective this is to use, I think it is a great value for the price. You'll save at least $500 with this unit and you won't be disappointed. Good price, highly functional, great value.

I have mixed feelings about this laser leveler. I have an older different model and I do not feel that there are any differences when it comes to indoor use. I got this because I wanted to make sure a garden bed I am installing is leveled to the house on a sloped hill. The only thing that stood out was the glasses included in this kit. It helped to see the laser lines a bit better at about 12 ft. Outdoors. I don't work in construction or remodeling, by any means, but I can say that this unit is bulkier and heavier than my older model. Either unit would suffice for indoor projects, but I can see the laser a little bit better outdoors woth this unit than the other unit. I also appreciate the battery and usb-c charging options. Couple issues bothers me. I am not sure why the vertical (y) line is much brighter than the horizontal (x) line(s). Thr app downloaded could not locate the unit after repeated scan. I would loved to have the tripod included for other projects and I could careless for the accessories. Overall, the laser level works well for any in home use, the laser is bright, the organizer case is useful, and the unit feels pretty heay duty. Unfortunately, I'll still have to limit the use of this leveler. With my garden project, when the shade is on that side of the house, I'll be able to see the line. But, when the sun shifts, i wont be able to use it. Also, I can't really say I would recommend this unit over other ones when this is priced more without significant differences or better and useful accessories.
