    • Great phone but held back by Android.
Was a bit worried about the Huawei vs US issue and if this phone would come with Google play store and all apps working and stuff. My fears were alleviated completely. I bought this phone almost entirely because of the camera, even though I also own an iPhone 11 pro max. The camera taking experience is totally different but if you have patience this phone can arguably take most the of photos better. It's zoom can't even be compared to the iPhone. But the camera app suffers from some strange flaws too. It can't do hdr automatically meaning shots with bright lights behind subject usually come out awful... Unless you fiddle. The zoom buttons are in such a position that you need two almost three hands to zoom, hold phone steady, then shoot. On the iPhone this can all be done with one hand. It's just very akward on this phone. The phone is very fast, even compared next to the iPhone. Everything is buttery smooth. Where it suffers is from apparent Android core flaws. I could not use this phone as my daily phone while i drive to work for some of these reasons. If screen is off and notification comes in, it only shows me the app the notification came from unless I physically unlock the phone with my face (impossible I found with sunglasses), and distracting to have to reach for phone and finger unlock it. Volume control, or lack thereof, is another head scratcher. And with a slim plastic case on, the physical volume controls are impossible to find instinctively. Ok Google is spotty at best. I found that not just on this phone but going back to even my note 3,4, and 5. Hands down the iPhone wins the "always works" when you need it. Siri always responds even from across the room. Attention aware features on iPhones also keep the fiddling with lock screen issues while driving down to nearly zero. And text messages and notifications let you read the entire message without touching the phone. Small stuff like this makes it have to sit home while I take the iPhone with me during the week, even if I'll miss some great photo opportunities. During the weekend or when I don't need the phone to "just work" like on a trip, and when I want, arguably the better camera, this is great phone for those moments. It's a fantastic phone. But it's held back by Android, poor voice and face recognition, and some strange camera interface decisions. ... show more

    • the camera stopped working
after a month and a half, the camera on the phone stopped working - there is no sharpness. And it was because of the camera that I bought the phone. He's useless now... Money thrown away!!!

    • Don't buy the insurance!!! The phone is great and go ahead
Insurance will cost 149 but if you're phone gets damaged you'll be charged the same amount to try to fix it, not worth it... Literally won't cover if by the end of the day you literally pay twice for insurance and ends up being 300, just save yourself 150 and when it breaks take it to a shop... You'll probably save 100 out of the 300 🤷🏽♀️ ... show more

This phone was the best money could buy in 2019. Now it's still a great midrange phone with a superb camera, great battery life, and it still has Google play store apps. I don't know why, but camera seems slightly blurrier than my previous P30pro. Might be that I've dropped this one in the bathtub too many times? ... show more

No funciona como dicen, vi vídeos de como usarla y creo que es que vino dañada. Después de varios meses tratando de entenderlo, entendí luego que la cámara frontal vino defectuosa. This is a good phone with a very good camera and battery and even came 3 days early. For those who want to use multi-screen collaboration with this phone on a Huawei Laptop, you must set your region to China which can easily be done in the settings. This will give you access to a new emui update (EMUI 10), which supports multi-screen collaboration. If you set to US region, this will only give you access to EMUI 9 which does not support multi-screen collab. ... show more

The phone went blank after a week of use. Amazon tried to troubleshoot but I ended up having to return it for a refund. Would not recommend
