The desk is actually VERY nice for a cheap Chinese piece of furniture. Moving parts were well-greased. I was extremely impressed with the instructions, something that often gets forgotten when you buy a cheaper piece of furniture. I still cannot believe it was only 100 bucks for what you get when other companies are producing an equal product for twice the price. Overseas manufacturing is getting scary good! The only thing I don't understand is the 2 piece design of the top. Are the slabs used for another product? Did their veneer only come in a 1ft size? Idk but at least on the wood grain pattern, it actually adds individuality to the wood grain, just like 2 boards being edge glued anyway. Can't say much about the longevity but I say buy it! ... show more

I was impressed with the quality and low price. It's so easy to put together. I'm a girl and did it alone, though if you have a friend, I recommend using the extra pair of hands for the tabletop alignment piece.

The media could not be loaded. I've been wanting a standing desk for a while now as I work from home and do sit a lot, which isn't healthy for me, but very specifically wanted an adjustable height one. Assembly wasn't difficult, but slightly time consuming as it took me approximately an hour taking my time plus one major screw up where I had to partially disassemble it - be very careful how the connection rods that are controlled by the motor are lined up. Make sure the short rod that has the motor attached is lined up so it's just about flush on the exterior of the leg and that the notched ends go into the plastic connecter which connects to the long rod. I had the short rod reversed which caused my major mess up. Once set up was complete, operating it is simple to raise and lower with the attached remote which also allows you to preset 4 different desk heights. My particular desk topped out at a height of 46.8". Raising and lowering it is somewhat slow as well as noisier than I thought it would be though. Desk also has a moveable hook that hangs off the side, which is perfect for hanging my mini treadmill remote on. Lastly, has a nice little built-in cord manager at the back of the desk top. Onto my major complaint - which is partially my fault for not seeing this in the product pictures, but the fact that the actual desk top is split into 2 pieces. I was wondering if I had received a different product when the box arrived because it was much more compact than the surface area of the desk should have been. But nope, unpacking it revealed it is split into 2, which annoys me. Why? Because it will be a dust and crumb collector. I want a work/desk surface I can easily wipe clean without having to grab the vacuum to remove said crumbs and dust from the seam. Thankfully I have an XL 31" mouse pad to help partially cover this seam, but it still annoys me. Would have much preferred one solid desk top. Measurements are slightly off per description as I measured 23.5" deep by 47" long (description states 24" deep by 48" long). Overall despite my complaint about the desk top seam I'm still pretty happy with this desk. As said at the beginning of this review it's still a pretty solid desk for the price given its above average quality, as previous motorized stand up desks I looked at in store were running $300-$400. I even got a mini treadmill to accompany it. I do recommend it if you're in the market for a budget, motorized stand up desk. ... show more
