I bought a 3.4 oz bottle of Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia as a blind buy on Amazon for about $95.00 in early February 2024. In comparison, I own two other Jo Malone fragrances. I have Jo Malone Orange Blossom which I bought in person from a well known cosmetics store and my husband gifted me Jo Malone Red Roses which he purchased from their store at Heathrow airport. This bottle of English Pear & Freesia appears to be an authentic Jo Malone product. It arrived bubble wrapped in a Jo Malone box (no ribbon) and had a batch code (CC2 2035) I looked up on the day I received the product. The cologne is approximately 1 year and 17 days old as of today. I quite like this fragrance despite never having smelled it before. My skin chemistry prominently brings out the freesia, amber and patchouli notes in the fragrance. I also made my husband spritz some on his wrist to try for comparison and I can smell the pear very strongly on him. Jo Malone has successfully created scents that are unique, wonderful and I love them. Additionally, they don’t seem to fall back to that universal alcohol scent that most perfumes seem to default to. This makes me even more unsure why Miranda (devil wears prada) doesn’t like Freesia ….. ? ). Hummm dunno ... show more
