This HTV is a great value for the price. That being said, it's very thick compared to Siser Easyweed and therefore requires a deeper cut on your machine. The regular iron-on setting doesn't cut all the way through (even when I tried a new blade), but the iron-on + setting makes the letters fall of the carrier sheet. A custom setting between the two is required. Also, the instructions say to put the smooth side down on the mat. Not the case! The silky smooth side goes up. Absolutely use a weeding tool in the corner to check before cutting. I wasted a huge piece of it assuming that their instructions were correct. It's worth the price if you're looking to save money. ... show more

    • THICKEST HTV EVER: Force 8 and 2 passes to cut with deep cut blade

I've used a LOT of HTV and different brands over the years. This is the thickest I've ever worked with. It is like working with the density of a carrier sheet. Very clear instructions on box which is awesome. Just swapped to a NEW deep cut blade from an auto blade (accidental...) and needed to up the force from 4 to 8 with 2 passes. You read that right: EIGHT AND TWO PASSES. Could probably have done with a 9, tbh. Man, this is going to eat through this blade. However, it stuck wonderfully and doesn't feel too much thicker once applied. It is a cold peel. The tool is a little odd for me to work with, but seems nice. I use a dental metal pick with a light on it. Seriously fellow weeders, it was an amazing buy. Shipped very quickly. Silhouette + deep cut blade = Force 8 + 2 Passes + Extended corners on this Smooth HTV. Will update review with wear at a later date. ... show more

Completely awesome HTV at an amazing price!!! Easy to cut, weed, used 305° setting on my press, peeled while warm, and voila! Perfect design and product. The price is the best around!

    • Tricky settings at first but decent value

My opinion: Works with silhouette if the setting is at “heat transfer: smooth”, auto blade setting is at 4 or 5, with 8 speed, 8 force, 2 passes. It is very thick so be prepared to use a little muscle when weeding. Out of the blue one day I could not get this vinyl to cut. When I was struggling to get the vinyl to cut and peel nicely, I ended up playing with my auto adjust blade and realized that for some reason this vinyl occasionally throws my auto blade off and my silhouette struggles to auto adjust the blade back into setting I need it so if you have an automatic blade and are scratching your head, manually switch it to 4-5 yourself (“2-3” blade setting will not work with this vinyl when I experimented) and then I run it through at 8 speed, 8 force and 2 passes and got it to work again that way consistently. ... show more

This vinyl ruined 2 good blouses. At first I thought it was me, so I tried again. The letters have a clear coat which peels right off...this also removes the rainbow coloring. On the second blouse, one letter never stuck to the blouse. I followed the directions on the box to the letter, but it didn’t help. I do not recommend this brand. ... show more

The color isn't as great as it is pictured. It's very dark. I haven't put it on anything yet because it's not the happy colors I was looking for. IT IS CRAP!!!!! The only good thing about it was it was easy to weed! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Any decent crafter will do exactly what I’m doing, throwing it in the trash! ... show more

I was shocked to see how reasonably priced this HTV is, so I had to try it out. It was easy to tell the back from the front, the back is matte. It was fairly easy to weed. The only part that was a little challenging were the very thin letters I did at the bottom #laidback. I anticipated this, as it is typical with most vinyls. It pressed easily at 305 for 30 seconds and peeled nicely. When I finally run out of this 25 foot roll, I will be purchasing more! ... show more
