HSK so far in my opinion is the best lightpad for it's price. Priced about the same as the artdot loghtpad but much better quality. Thicker and heavier duty it lights up from all around and not just the bottom. Adjustable intensity with the ability to lock the buttons so you don't activate them by mistake. So far, it’s worked flawlessly. For those asking about brightness adjustment. It has 4 light brightness settings. Very good. It’s only about 3/8” thick so handle with care until it on a flat surface. This feature also allows for storage in tight places. For me that is a huge plus. I bought the 24” x 36”size. for large sketching paper it works great. Don’t hesitate. I purchased the A1 largest I could for my kids to try out and it has not disappointed us. It is so large that three of my kids can be using an 8-1/2 x 11 on it at the same time and there is still room to move around. It is bright and seems very sturdy.

Wife loves it for doing tracing and drawing and with a clear self healing protective mat she also cuts on it too. It's very thin and sturdy and the plug for power has a pig tail and less likely to break than a USB-C port directly into the side
