I bought the drone for my 8 y/o for Christmas. We played with with the drone for about 15 minutes until he packed it up. It was definitely my fault. I hit one of the buttons at the top of the remote and the thing flew into a wall. Luckily, it was pretty durable. After that…the fun and games ended, and he took the drone to his room. The drone is definitely for beginners in the sense that I paid about $40 bucks for it, and before we upgrade to one of the higher priced drones it will be nice to get the kinks out with this one. The drone came with a safety cage for the propellers, so if we named the sections A and B so they would attach properly…we received all A’s. Nothing was affected by this to my knowledge, nor did my son seem to notice or care. The drone didn’t do a 360 roll which was a bummer, and it wasn’t the easiest to control. In order to use the camera we would have needed to download an app. The app seemed sketchy, so I willingly opted out of using the camera. I.E. the instructions looked like an app for a flight simulator game (literally). All in all, I would have been happier if it was priced at $25. With the difficulty of maneuvering, lack of controls, and the quality control mistake…that would have made me think…You only paid $25…what did you expect. ... show more

    • It works, not for beginners.
I bought two of these with a special use in mind. The end result would be to intentionally destroy them. Cons- This drone is difficult to control. Both controllers did not work properly in the same way, no control to move the drones left horizontally. Not recommended for a beginner or a kid. Could not get the camera to work. Pros- Plenty of power, these drones are relatively quick with a good assent speed. Tougher than I thought they would be. We shot them with BB guns and crashed them into concrete at speed for fun. They took it well, one took at least a dozen hits from the BB guns and was crashed hard 5 times before it quit. ... show more

I bought this without much thought at the time ,,,the solid blades are not great for withstanding crashes and the guards do not fit at all,,,,you have to retrim it out nearly every time you use it,,,if you are buying and it's for an adult,,,,it's a pretty great starter Drone ,,beyond that ,,not much else extra battery is nice though for extra fly time ,,oh and definitely not for any kind of windy day at all ,,,still an ok Drone for the money ... show more

When it came, they gave me two front right propellor guards, which says nothing about the product, just the manufacturer. It flies really well, but I was dissapointed in the camera. It works, but the quality is less than ideal. also when it gets connected to the app, often the controls are laggy if that makes any sense. the reason it got 4 stars instead of 3 is because its literally an 80 dollar drone. ... show more
