so far I love this new printer. It's smaller then my last one. I always try to buy HP products because I believe in them to be the best. I wanted a printer that can be connected to my desk top computer and also can be used wireless. Good deal for the money.

All I buy is HP printers. This one is fine, but built cheaply. It grinds a bit as the ink caridge moves across the page, so I fear that it woun't last too long. This was an emergency purchase, just so I could get the job done. I was sent the wrong cable, but luckily I had an extra one that worked. The way to clear paper jams requires you to turn the printer over, remove a plate on the bottom, and then find the jam. I will keep my fingers crossed that this will last until I can get a better one. It does the job, but slowly and noisily. ... show more

If you buy one, spend extra time testing it right away. I was really busy when I bought it and the return window flew by (my own fault). I was never able to get the error messages to go away. I had to unplug the printer after every use, as it would go in to error mode when sitting. It never - not one time - copied or scanned. I spent a lot of time uninstalling, reinstalling, going on support pages and support assist. I bought ink that seemed useless almost immediately.
