  • Pretty good
[Mostly] not possible to achieve the 1200w advertised output in the US, as that rating was taken @ 240VAC. Output at 120VAC is 900w, and output at 110VAC is only 800w. You can get the full output by using a step up transformer, but then you won't be netting the same "platinum" efficiency that you'd otherwise be getting with true 240VAC power from the wall. Once its working hard, it can be pretty loud-- it IS a server power supply, after all. That said, with a little breakout board, it has been doing a good job powering the 1080 Ti's in my rig. I use a separate platinum ATX power supply to power the motherboard, SSD, and PCIe risers. I got it for about 70 bucks. The break out board + PCIe cables was about 40. For $110 total, it's pretty hard to beat this unit for the kind of 24/7 workhorse loads that you'll find in mining. Personally I think my next rig will use a single large Titanium-class ATX power supply to power all of the cards, but I'd definitely consider going this route again in the future if I was looking to conserve capital. ... show more

  • Plenty of juice to power GPUs
Purchase several of this HP PSU from different vendors, they work great, they have plenty of juice to power GPUs. I've powered 6 GPU with a single one of this on 120V/900watts and I was impressed they could continue working with such a big load, I eventually went down to 5 GPU. If you can hook up the PSU to 240V and get 1200 watts out of it you can easily power 6 to 7 GPUs. They are noisy when they get hot though. ... show more

  • Nice & Clean Power for my Miner
Nice, compact, somewhat quiet clean power source for running cards on a rig.

  • Probably renewed condition... Not new
Item was advertised as new but clearly was either in used or renewed condition. The item arrived in bubble wrap with no label or retail box. It had signs of previous use like scratches and even an old velcro cable tie was still attached.

  • Strong, quiet, and cool.
First off this is only rated 900w when running at 110v, but 1200w at 220v. but aside from that it is running strong, quiet, and cool. Great price for lots of wattage compared to ATX power supplies.

  • Buy HP from this reliable seller!
The media could not be loaded. Get the right adapter (1200-FB) and you have a very efficient power supply thanks HP!
