I bought this monitor to use for gaming, photo editing and web browsing, and I'm mostly happy with it. The size and resolution are perfect for my needs, and the monitor is easy to set up and adjust. The resolution and size are great for having multiple windows open and the monitor has a sleek design that looks good on my desk. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the color accuracy. I noticed that some colors are slightly off compared to my other monitor and my laptop screen. This can be a problem when I'm working on projects that require precise color matching. I tried to calibrate the monitor using different settings, but I couldn't get it to match exactly. If you don't care about the color accuracy, this monitor is a great choice. But if you do, you might want to look for another option or use a colorimeter to calibrate it, though you may need to be playing around with both the monitor settings and Windows color calibration itself.

I bought 2 of these to go with my x27i monitor to complete my triple monitor set up. These have worked great as the two outside monitors. The curve gives me a great angle considering the wing span of the 3 monitors together is around 80 inches. Great picture quality and response time. I am constantly moving between monitors and have loved my set up so far!

Bought to upgrade from an old 25" flat screen TV I'd used as my primary monitor for years , mostly to put my monitors on a mount to free up some desk space. Picture quality is great, looks sharp and bright. Decent price as well. Not too heavy for a mount. Might have to get another one, or two, in the future.

I got the HP X34 on sale and like it quite a lot. The ultrawide aspect ratio is great for first-person gaming (lots of peripheral vision) and coding/productivity (2-3 windows side-by-side). The lack of a curve is a downside - unless you need a flat panel for CAD, the edges of the screen with look dim and far away. The monitor gets quite bright, and although the buttons are clunky, the Omen app for Windows has all the settings. The stand is versatile and was easy to use. I/O is limited, but I use a DisplayPort switch, so that isn't an issue for me. The monitor isn't color calibrated and can't be easily calibrated when in HDR (since the settings are disabled and most calibrator applications don't support Windows HDR color space). Even though it's only HDR400, HDR movie scenes like the John Wick night concert chase still have more brilliant whites and deeper colors. In 10-bit/HDR mode, you're limited to 144Hz, which is fine by me. The local dimming is limited - it just dims the screen in 8 vertical sections, and only when it's completely black and free of light elements like a mouse cursor. This avoids splotchy HDR text, but makes dark screens uneven. You can't disable the local dimming, but it barely does anything when you're in SDR mode. Overall, there are minor nitpicks, but the bargain price makes it worth it. I'd consider a curved panel if the price is comparable, but otherwise, I'm relatively happy with this monitor.

Unit clearly had fingerprints on it like it was repackaged and listed as new..Wiped screen off and unit was already set up with frequency which I changed, also no tutorial sticker on screen. But, price was right and works well..So far, so good..Very pleased otherwise.

This gaming monitor is awesome, allow me to say that I am not a professional in this of reviewing so I am just going to say what I like of this product and what I don't like, I mean pros and cons. PROS: 1) picture qualite is pristine, using it whit my RTX 3060 to play video games delivers an astonishing palet of vivid colors in my videogames. 2) I may be lucky but mine do not have any light leakage using display port 1.1 or 1.2, blacks are perfect. 3)very good contrast ratio...all this using Display port 1.1 CONS: 1) display port 1.2 do not work with my dedicated RTX 3060 it says no signal, it does work with the integrated gpu though. 2) when using display port 1.4 with my dedicated graphic card or the integrated graphic card it shows some weird ilumination against black backgrounds wherever place I move my mouse or white letters appear against black backgrounds, this does not happen using display port 1.1 or 1.2 though, I mean it's like light leakage but wherever I move my mouse against black backgrounds. I haven't tried it with HDMI yet, if somebody knows how to solve this problems, help will be grateful.

I was looking for a 27-inch IPS monitor that would be good for both gaming and working. I couldn't resist when I saw $200 on this monitor and never regret it. I set the resolution at 1440p but the refresh rate at 144 because my laptop doesn't have the display port but only HDMI. For gaming, my graphics card (gtx1060) cannot handle this one well. So, I have to play the games in a window mode, but that's just my old laptop's problem. I set the window size about at 27 inches and am happy. What I really like about this monitor is when I work. I can open 4 windows without sacrificing the clarity of pictures and readiability of texts. This makes my jobs so easy. And I don't need to turn on my laptop's display (of course I can if I need sometimes). The screen is bright too. I think I got a really good deal.
