This Doc Johnson ‘The Tube’ is 5 5/8” long and the hole is .57” (14.6mm) measured with digital calipers. It has a lot of elasticity and easily fit my 5” girth just fine. If you are 5 inches in length or shorter, you may not enjoy this toy because your head won’t show or maybe only a tiny bit. Doc should consider making a shorter one for those guys. But I think it’s best for 6 inch or longer erections. It has a unique feel as you move it up and down. Feels like rumbling or fluttering when the inner ribs rub on the back of the ‘helmet’ (corona). You can hear it too, like sputtering. Avoid storing it with other toys of the same or similar material otherwise they will stick to each other and be damaged when you peel them apart. I store mine separately in a plastic bag with some corn starch sprinkled in.

I knew from the reviews that this was not going to be like the fleshlight that I have. However, for the price you can't go wrong. I have only used it once so far and it was pretty tight on the first try, it didn't really loosen much, but once you get enough lube, it feels pretty good. Unfortunately, because of the tightness, you don't feel the inner rings as much as you would if it was a little looser. The perfume-like smell was pretty strong, but got better after I washed it - I have a feeling it will fade more and more but it was not unbearable. It would be nice if the tube came in a longer model so that you could choose which one you wanted. A longer size would have been nice, but once you get a good rhythm going, its fine. Again, its not a fleshlight, but it is much easier to clean, it is a lot more portable, especially for traveling and things, and it gets the job done - actually pretty quickly...Overall, I am very pleased with the product so far. Update November 2011 - the perfume smell is still present, but it has gotten better. The tube has loosened up some and is more comfortable and more stimulating. I have found myself using this more than my fleshlight simply because of the size, portability, and easier clean-up. You still can't beat this product for the price. So - still happy with it so far!!! Update October 2013 - I just bought another one of these. Do NOT use ID velvet lube with this item - it is not toy safe and starts to break down the material. Finally caused mine to come apart. However, you can see the date of my last update was almost two years ago - so I definitely got plenty of use out of it.

At 26 years, I had never used a toy before for sex or masturbation. What a fool I was! For this price, you can't go wrong. I highly recommend you at least try it with some lube, especially if you're someone who has friction problems and you don't like the feel of a lubed hand. For dermatological reasons alone, it was worth buying this. The merit of the toy depends in part on whether it matches your dimensions. I think the presence/absence of a foreskin could be an issue as well. If you are circumcised with around a 6.5' length and 5' girth when fully erect, then I HIGHLY recommend you try it. It is just tight enough to be snug, and if you need more tightness, just increase your grip! The length is just right so your head will get tickled going both ways as it pokes out/in the other end with each stroke. My first impression upon touching this thing was "WOW, this material feels really cool!" Then I put my finger inside, and one word came to mind - SUCTION! It has got plenty of it, as it has rings inside. It is very soft and spongy - some reviewers don't like it, but I love it. Maybe you will too. Again, at this price you owe it to yourself to find out. Finally, I would add that as this is my first time with a toy, I have no way of comparing it with others - so don't go on my review alone. That being said, what have you got to lose at this price? If someone finds it, they will probably think its some insulation for a water pipe or something. Incidentally, I recommend storing it next to the water heater or a hot water pipe - keeps it good and warm for you. (Just don't get it too hot!)

I purchased this product because I was seriously tired of using my hand. I had a few spare bucks and decided to purchase this item. When I first opened the package I was greeted with a strong perfume. Some say it's okay others say it is room filling and in my case it was room filling but it is not a bad smell at all, it is a nice smelling perfume and even though it filled the room it went away in about 10 minutes. The smell does get onto your hands but easily washes off. Now to the functionality of the product itself. While it does not have a very realistic feeling it does indeed feel very good and the holes on either side are rather small but it stretches very easily. The rings are a very good feeling and personally I feel they are better than the nubs. This item seems a bit fragile so don't be too rough with it. It is also really easy to clean and dries rather fast. I would recommend getting this item and it won't be a waste of money and time. You will be satisfied with this product. Also I would like to note if your on the bigger side this may not be the bet option for you, and for those of you out there worried about privacy it comes in a package labeled with Amazon fulfillment Services, nowhere on the package does it reveal on what's inside. Product is a 10/10
