Seemed like a great value - sturdy if you torque all the nuts well. It was a PITA to build, but decently engineered. You should be mechanically oriented, somewhat handy and not easily frustrated. Instructions are such that you often only realize what they are trying to say after you have figured it out. I ordered mine in January. Upstate NY. You have to find a time that isn’t miserably cold or windy for several days in a row once the ground isn’t frozen. That means. Just put it up now, in April. DO NOT start building if there is any wind in the forecast. It took just over 2 days (maybe 18-20 hrs, much spent organizing parts and puzzling it out). Ran out of daylight one day. 40 mph gusts took window off but it was easy to put back on. Windows are the Achilles heel. That one wasn’t perfectly square on the building. I taped all polycarbonate panel ends with clear gorilla tape to prevent moisture ingress into the channels. Probably might go back and threadlock bolts. About an hours worth of help from hubby and more from a ladder. I am 5 ft tall, 58 yo F engineer. Very happy with the end result, but it was definitely some work. (Easy things have no flavor?) I am planting in ground, so harder to true up than building on a platform or deck. I might move/change this depending on how things do. Ground is a better heat sink, but definitely need pavers outside doors and I hope everything doesn’t just get horribly overgrown. Auto window opener is a must. Looking to do figs, melons, luffa, stuff that wants more warmth and a longer season. We’ll see. ... show more

These were by far the worst instructions I’ve ever encountered. It took quite a bit longer to build than expected, and with much guesswork. Overall, it seems like a decent quality greenhouse. It has withstood several storms and snow so far this season. It will not keep temperatures above freezing, so I also had to purchase a greenhouse heater just to keep the internal temp about 40° F over the winter. Where I live, we have winter temps ranging from -10° to 20° F. It also required some weather stripping and caulk to seal up any gaps. For the price, I think that it is good quality. The size is adequate for a backyard hobby greenhouse. I recommend also purchasing automatic window vents, and a solar powered fan, along with a heater to keep the internal environment acceptable. ... show more

It is a must to have a solid foundation for mounting the greenhouse. We used pressure treated lumber over cinder blocks. We dug holes in the ground, added cement and J-bolts. We filled the interior floor with pavers. The kit did not have any missing parts. The instructions are pictures and it was difficult at times to decide which way a part goes. We first layed out all the parts from the check list. This organization was an important time saver when putting together this giant puzzle. We love the look and function of this greenhouse. I was a little hesitant to order this because a lot of the reviews talked about the difficulty of putting it together, lack of detailed instructions, etc. I was also hesitant because typically, DIY structures don't always fit together correctly, there are missing pieces, and so on. I was wrong. This arrived two days earlier than the expected delivery date, which was the first positive. It's starting to get cold here so the sooner the better! After reading several reviews, I decided to follow some of the suggestions and inventory all the pieces upon arrival to prevent frustration down the road. Everything arrived in perfect condition (a few of the panels has bent corners, but nothing that affected the quality of the structure). Again, follow previous reviewers instructions, I laid all the pieces our, label up, for easy identification when putting it together. Now, the instructions COULD use some more details, however, if you just pay attention to the illustrations and notes, it's not too bad. There were a few steps that stumped me, but after playing around with the pieces fitting together, I was able to figure it all out. They recommend 2 days and 2 adults to build this, but I built it in a day and a half by myself. 38 yo male, 5'9, with minimal issues. There is not any part that couldn't be done alone, but if you have two people, it would obviously go quicker. Typically, I have issues at some point with holes not lining up, pieces not fitting together properly, and so on. I had ZERO issues with this kit. Every single hole lined up perfectly, every part went together as it should, there were no alignment issues with the structure itself, and it looks fantastic. I could not be more pleased with this kit. As I stated, I was hesitant, but wow. I would recommend it to anyone that has the space and ability to DIY. Would definitely buy again from this brand. This greenhouse does not even deserve one star. ILess than one star is what it deserves. The listing for the size of it is wrong. The seller told me they List It smaller than what it actually is. The pieces don't fit. Several were bent. The seller refuses to refund me in full and send prepaid shipping labels so I can send it back to them. This is an absolute nightmare.
