We live in a 100 year old home with original hardwood floors, and wanted something that could help clean them without damaging them. The product seems to work well so far, but the smell is a bit concerning. We have birds with sensitive respiratory systems, and will likely only be using this if we can have the windows open and fans running to help avoid some of the fumes. Good product if you do not have pets and can deal with the smell.

We used this cleaner on our oak hardwood flooring with polyurethane finish, using a sponge mop. It worked very well, especially in cleaning up dog drool/water spots and muddy foot prints from our Golden Retriever. Our usual cleaner is Bona and although this cleaner cleaned just as well, it did not appear to leave as much of a shine like we experience from the Bona product. Pricing for this product is in line and comparable to other similar products (like Bona). My only complaint is that there is a stong chemical odor that is noticeable when cleaning but disipates when dry. I don't believe it's harmful as some other reviewers have noted and certainly not something that would prevent me from using it in the future. For now, I will alternate between this product and Bona since both are now in our arsenal of cleaning products.

As someone who has hardwood floors in my home, I'm always on the lookout for a good cleaner that can keep my floors looking their best. The cleaner comes in a 32 fl. oz. (1 Qt.) bottle, which is a generous amount that should last for quite some time. The clear formula is easy to apply, and I found that it did an excellent job of removing dirt and grime from my hardwood floors. This hardwood floor cleaner gets the job done. Like others have said, it does have a chemical smell, but it's not unbearable to me and it does go away after using the product. Yes I would prefer a different scent, but it isn't the end of the world I'm going to finish using the bottle. It works to help keep the wood floors in my house looking clean and shiny. Overall, I'm content with the product and I'd order it again.

Howard wood n' floor cleaner does works wonders on my vinyl planks kitchen floor. I love the shine it gives on my floor. It gives that clean shiny looking floor. That some other brands just wouldn't work. First i mop my floor with clean water then let it dry. Next i would apply this cleaner. Works great!! My only problem is the smell for me, it's a bit strong smelling stuff. Overall it works great. And definitely worth the try.
