Got this for my 8 year old. Easy to use, heavy product and great lights. However I wish the housing was better quality. The second day we had it a corner of it broke off after bumping on a chair. Otherwise good product.

The (H1-CME) was a Christmas gift in 2020, and failed within a short period of time (gyroscope issue). I attempted to fix it myself with the error code it was presenting, but the best Hover-1 could offer us with was a discount on a refurbished and different model, which arrived to us defective and with a broken plastic shell. I notified Hover-1 of the defective refurbished unit on 8.3.21 and on August 24, 2021 I was informed by Hover-1: “An order for your replacement item has been placed and will ship soon. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number, when your item is ready to ship.” I did not receive any confirmation thereafter, until I proactively messaged again and was then told that I now needed to decommission the unit before a replacement would ship. This was confusing especially when I was told an order was placed and would ship soon. After multiple emails, and another request to speak with a Representative on 12.8.21, we are moving towards a resolution with a replacement. ... show more

I purchased the Electric Hoverboard as a Christmas gift for my son and he was thrilled. In terms of appearance, it looks great and he enjoys riding it. However, the music quality is not the best, but for a child, it adds an extra element of fun. The biggest issue we have had with the hoverboard is its durability. Even a slight bump causes parts to break, and it has become a regular occurrence to have to glue parts back together. While my son enjoys riding the hoverboard, I would not recommend it for its lack of durability. ... show more

    • Don't hit a wall or the plastic will shatter!!

My granddaughter barely hit a wall the first day she got this and it shattered the plastic on one side. It still worked afterwards, but it is not made of very durable material. I'm pretty disappointed, for the price I paid for it. I would've sent it back, but my granddaughter was having too much fun and I wasn't going to spoil that for her. Buyer beware! ... show more

I purchased 2 of these for my grandbabies. Same brand, same company and delivered at the same time. The blue (boys) device was $50 more than the pink (girls) and the battery runs dead about a lot faster than than the pink one. Being brother and sister and playing together makes this kind of frustrating and disheartening. It is not a weight issue either because my girl is older and actually weighs more than my boy! They absolutely love them except for that issue! Very pretty and fun to see them have so much fun! Also, being bumped on something in the house has already proven to have broken off a small piece of plastic. This is the 2nd hoverboard (2nd brand) we have ordered off of amazon... the first after waiting FOREVER due to covid .. the battery was bad & never even was turned on..... so decided to pay a little more & read all the reviews & got this one! Shipping was prolonged due to covid... We finally got it & the box has obviously already been opened & taped shut... which at this point my 6 yr old who saved money & bought it has been waiting so I opened it, you could def. tell it had been used & returned but plugged it in charged it up( which only took maybe 1 1/2 hr.... she rode it for about 1hr- 1hr & 1/2 & it started beeping is extremely hot & wont turn back on... checked off it needed to be charged... nope the light on charger is still green... so we are thinking it just got hot😳! But we reset it... & it was it was great! ... show more
