Best quality audio I've ever experienced from a corded earbud, even rivals some headphones I've tried. Listening to music is an entirely new experience; it feels like being in the room with the band. I can differentiate individual cords on the bass, slide guitar, beats on the drum -- extremely impressive for earbuds. They also fit well, and there's a second set of silicon inserts included in a small box at the bottom in case they're a bit too small (for reference, I'm 5'9 and they're small but snug and comfortable, so most should have no issue wearing them). Cord is thin but braided, L-shaped plug fits the edge of my laptop just as close to flush as the plug-in for my cordless mouse (~1/4"). My only complaint is the controls on the cord: they're effectively non-existent. If you use an apple device you can control playback, pause, and accept/end phone calls. If you do not use them with an apple device, the single button present does nothing. It has a microphone though, so if you don't mind controlling these things from the device as opposed to the cord it's not much of an issue. Personally, I'm using them on a Dell laptop, so while the button doesn't function, its more convenient for me to use the volume and playback controls on the keyboard anyway, so it's not a huge sticking point for me. Otherwise, materials and packaging are all sustainable: even the tie used to wrap the cord is braided twine as opposed to plastic-wrapped wire and the sticker to seal the box is made of recycled paper. TL;DR: spectacular product, especially for the price -- I have two just so I have a backup :) ... show more

I love these earphones and it’s probably the 5th or 6th set I’ve owned. They don’t break, I just leave them on airplanes or the wife steals them. Great sound, decent bass, exceptional clarity and at a price that won’t leave you broke (or angry when you leave them somewhere on accident.

I love the sound, The buds are made out of wood. They produce a nice full sound and deep bass. I use them a ton. Only issue is I go through 1-2 of them a year as they don't seem to last. I think its because they're supposed to be sustainable and use a cloth wire cover. But even still, I buy these a few at a time because the sound beats more expensive wired headphones. They sound great and block out outside noise even at low volume. Come with a mic and a control button that works on android and iphone. Other caveat, the cloth wire cover also will rub on your collar and the sound can get annoying, and if you're on the phone the sound can be heard by people you’re talking to, so i try not to use it for calls. Overall i buy in bulk in case they stop making them, Again, nice sound. ... show more

I purchased these for my noisy job, even though they don't claim to be noise-canceling. They've not only met but exceeded my expectations. The earbuds themselves are very comfortable and stay securely in my ears. The construction is phenomenal, and the wood finish looks great. The cord is covered with cloth, preventing tangles, which might be my favorite feature of all. I run the earbuds from my pocket, up through my shirt, to my ears. These have very good sound quality, especially for the price. The highs are crisp, the bass is deep (not thumping like Beats or Bose but these also did not break the bank). They are half the cost of the Apple earbuds that they replace. They sound much better than the Sony earbuds in a similar price range, which I have bought many times over the years. They also sound incrementally better than my Apple or Skull Candy earbuds (both of which broke/shorted out recently). The only earbuds I've had with better sound quality than these House of Marley Smile Jamaica arbuds were my $99 Beats earbuds that were excellent until one side shorted out (which all earbuds eventually do unfortunately, which is why I'm not willing to spend a lot on earbuds for everyday use & working out). Not equivalent to expensive audiophile headphones, but they are good for every day use. The only knock against them could be that the cord is pretty skinny, so I will be careful not to tug at them. Also, I wish they listed the frequency response. I couldn't find it in the listing, on the HouseofMarley.com website, or the box they came in. I think the frequency response is decent, but I wish it was stated up front for all the earbuds and heaphones sold on Amazon. This is the 5th or 6th House of Marley product that I've bought in recent years and I'm pleased with all of them - Everyone loves my House of Marley Bag of Riddim; I love the Liberate speaker so much that I've given several as gifts. The sound quality of House of Marley is equivalent to or better than spearker and headphone products that cost much much more. ... show more
