As for their shelf-life, I can't comment since they are brand new. I'll know more in a couple of months or years how they stand up to dishwasher life. I just received this set of silicone spatulas in the teal blue color, and I am incredibly pleased with the quality of the HOTEC Food Grade Silicone Rubber Spatula 5-Piece Set. We have coastal color tones in our home, in which the teal works well for us. The four pictured on the left are all flexible and the thinnest spatula on the right pictured is more ridged -- perfect for scraping the last bit of mayo or peanut butter out of the jar. Pros: Well-made, one-piece construction, dishwasher safe, color choices, flexible yet sturdy, able to withstand hot temperatures when cooking. Cons: None that I have experienced so far. ... show more

Love SO much about these. The colors are highly visible in the drawer. They stand up to heat, dishwashing, etc. So far, the edges are durable. The variety is fantastic. HOWEVER: we tried using the medium spreader/knife to stir natural peanut butter (the oil separates to the top of the jar; this is a common need in cooking!) ... even though I was being quite careful, the spatula was not up to the task. it bent at the end of the metal rod inside, and cracked the silicone surface. SO, BE CAREFUL not to stir very thick foods! I can see why another reviewer had one of the normal spatulas break. THE GOOD NEWS: the vendor made it good for me with replacement. I have ZERO complaints. Just won't do that again! ... show more

Love the color. It’s a dark blue/light navy and would go well with most colors. I have yellow, turquoise and grey and it looks nice with my kitchen. You get 2 small and 2 large spatulas, one scoop and one flat for each and you get one long scraper. They are all perfect for what they’re made for. I use spatulas for cooking constantly and if you haven’t tried the silicone yet, it’s fabulous for cleanup. Super easy. Highly recommend. ... show more

I bought one of these spoon/spatulas a year ago and loved it! I decided I needed another one. They seem to hold up well and does a nice job of neatly removing food from bowls and pots. No waste here! Not happy that I had to buy a whole set because I wanted only the one utensil.
