I got this for my son, who is 18. As a kid, he collected Hot Wheels Monster Trucks and had collector cases full of them. We went to Monster Jam many times and saw the performances. Although he is an adult now, I just had a feeling that a high-quality R/C vehicle such as this might peak his interest, and I was right! He was skeptical at first, but this R/C truck definitely handles like an adult's R/C vehicle! First off, the truck itself is rechargeable with the attached USB cord, which is 100 times better than having to constantly replace large cell batteries. It is powerful...it has some serious speed and really takes off from a stop. It does plenty of tricks like wheelies and will even spin in circles on its rear wheels. You can pop up the front end and jump up onto a higher surface. We have an inground swimming pool, and this truck is highly maneuverable, even in a pool of water! My husband made a launch ramp to drive it up and launch it into the pool in the deep end! The remote control is powered by two AAA batteries and seemed to be very easy for my son to operate. The truck looks cool and its foam-type wheels and plastic body are very lightweight, allowing it to do tricks and maneuvers easily. I feel like it will be very durable and will be able to withstand some more daring jumps and spills. I was also shocked by the sheer size of this thing! I really thought it was going to be a smaller vehicle, but this is quite large...sitting on my desk, it was nearly as long as my chair was wide! This truck would make an awesome gift for an R/C enthusiast of any age!

Hot Wheels again and again delivers. I would definitely recommend this remote control car. It’s built for outside. Got to use it for the first time last night with the kids and it was a big hit with them. Just be aware it’s a lithium battery to control the car so you need two hour charge before first using so they were a little down at first but once this thing was charged we were ready to rock. It’s drives on grass really fast and asphalt even faster. My two kids (soon to be 4yr boy and 6yr girl) had so much fun trying to chase the car down. Remote control controller takes two triple A batteries. The thing has a lot of power and I attribute that to the battery. If this thing ran on D batteries it would probably be cheaper but also not as good. We still need to have more playtime sessions to test this out and its ability to drive in low levels of water as advertised but it’s one of the best control cars I have had in a long time and the best one the kids have had ever. It will be only for outside play which speaks to the durability and dieselness of this truck. Only con is due to tight turns it can be prone to flip on its side and will get stuck and you will need to flip it back. That just means you got to work on fine tuning your driving skills is all! Overall Solid Recommendation here, High Quality RC Truck.

I ordered this as a gift for my son, and he absolutely loves it. It was a big hit right out of the box and has quickly become one of his favorite toys to play with. The RC truck is a lot of fun because it can handle more than just smooth floors. The ability to drive on different surfaces, including water, makes it feel more unique than a typical remote-control vehicle. He enjoys taking it outside, trying different areas, and seeing what kind of stunts he can do with it. The controls are easy for him to understand, and he was able to start driving it without needing much help. The monster truck design looks great, and the oversized tires make it feel like a real off-road vehicle. The wheelies and stunts add another level of fun and keep him entertained. The build quality also seems good for a children's toy. It has held up well through normal play, including crashes and rougher driving, which is expected with an RC truck designed for kids. Overall, this was a great gift choice. It is entertaining, easy to use, and gives kids plenty of ways to play. This wicked little beast of a kids rc truck is fun and I like it I own over 100 pro grade rc cars and this week I played with this with my nephew more than I used my pro grade rc cars. The truck is very durable we have been bashing it over toys and terrain. The battery lasts a good amount of time we have used it over a dozen times and I have charged the built in batteries maybe 3 times. I really enjoy playing with this little monster rc it giant wheels and ability to float in water makes it that more fun. I think this Rc truck is a great value for the money.

As a long-time Hot Wheels fan and collector, I was really excited to see them drop an amphibious RC monster truck. The Great Bite look is awesome, and the ability to drive it off dry land straight into the water or pool is definitely a cool trick. The stunts like back wheelies and 360 spins work smoothly enough on flat ground, but the overall execution leaves a bit to be desired for what it costs. The remote control is as basic as it gets—just simple forward, backward, left, right, and a single dedicated wheelie button. There’s no fine throttle control or steering trim to adjust, so you’re pretty much getting a simple toy-grade controller. On top of that, the truck itself relies on a lot of lightweight, styrofoam-like plastic. While that light build is obviously what helps it float on water, it feels a bit cheap in the hand and lacks that heavy, durable weight you expect at this price point. Performance-wise, it really lacks low-end torque. It handles smooth surfaces and water just fine, but the motor bogs down quickly if you try to drive it through thick grass or over small backyard obstacles. It’s a fun novelty truck for quick outdoor play and water stunts, but between the plain remote, lightweight materials, and soft motor, the price tag is definitely a bit steep for what you actually get. Hot wheels makes great stuff all around everyone knows that brand. This rc monster truck is awesome it’s fun and me and my kids had fun with it and will continue to do so. The truck itself is rechargeable with usb-a plug in the truck. An you’ll need two aaa batteries for the remote. Took an hour to charge the truck. So one thing I didn’t realize is this thing ca float on water and drive across water. The tires are like big foam wheels and has three paddles on each tire so it will paddle on water of course it’s a drought wherein at so haven’t gotten the chance to test that part yet. But it’s a wheelie machine. Has a button and it will go int reverse the pops a wheelie and holds . You can start spinning or try to ride it out. It’s a great fun truck and you’ll be happy with it we sure are. An it’s super tough my kids were driving off the steps of our porch do a while and it’s still working hasn’t hurt a thing on it so that’s a plus. And I like all the green matching under the truck with the body for it

I bought this remote control car for my little one to give them something fun to drive around the house and yard. We've used it over grass, carpet, hard floors, and pavement. It performed really well and is very easy to use though I noticed it rolls over and gets stuck pretty routinely which is expected for a toy like this and not a major downside. The truck feels like thin but durable plastic and the big tires feel like foam. I really love that it recharges by USB so we do not have to constantly buy and swap out dead batteries. If you have younger kids who want a simple remote control truck to bash around the driveway this is perfect. It has definitely become a favorite. This is a fantastic and fun little truck that is incredibly easy to charge and play with so I definitely recommend it.

This Hot Wheels Monster Truck packs a surprising amount of speed and power! It has proven to be incredibly durable and versatile both on land and in the water, moving surprisingly well when we take it in the pool. My son has had a ton of fun making it pop wheelies and bouncing it off the walls. To top it off, the battery life is great, and I love that it's rechargeable so there is no need to mess with swapping out battery packs. Price is a little steep but its provided hours of fun for him so far with no complaints!
