    • Went through batteries too fast

This was a gift for grandson, & he loved it. However, it used 5 batteries (3 for the car & 2 for remote), & although batteries were new, they were drained after about 15 minutes. Which isn't going to work with a 3 yr old. It only works well on flat surfaces. On grass or dirt, it seemed to struggle & get stuck alot. My grandson lost the remote a few days after he got it, so it probably isn't a good gift for a kids under 5 or 6 (unless an adult keeps track of the remote). I guess for the price it wasn't bad, bur honestly, I don't recommend & wouldn't buy again. ... show more

For what its worth these are very fun for young kids. My 6 year old and 4 year old love them but they have hardly any power. I know it’s just a toy and not a hobby rc truck but it can’t even go over blankets or medium sized jumps without completely stopping. These would be good for little kids just starting out with rc but older than 6 and I’d say upgrade. Or maybe it’s just the kid in me but I want some torque for heavens sake. I plan to use the chassis and tires like Kevin talbot on YouTube and put them on something better to do some fun indoors bashing. Anyways, they haven’t broken and we run them all the time for about a month now. Get rechargeable aaa’s and charger and it helps save $ on batteries. ... show more
