My wife got these for me for Christmas and Holy Smokes these things keep my beer frosty. It's been a while since I've used a glass that actually makes my drink colder when I use it, without watering it down. I'm sure everyone's different, but taste gets better when it's colder, and boy do these make a difference. Volume wise they are a little smaller that the amount of beer I expected them to hold, but the quality and how fun they are to use in general easily makes up for that. There's a little white silicone or rubber band around the main section like in the picture that helps quite a bit carrying this thing around or just holding it for a long period of time. It's pretty soft and the white marble pattern is pretty nice. Pro-tip, put them upside down in the freezer to help the get as much frozen surface are as possible. Only thing I was a bit disappointed with was that there really wasn't enough gel in mine to cover the reservoir completely when frozen. Still works great though!

I purchased this set of Host Freeze mugs as a Hanukkah gift for my husband, and they have quickly become the most used glassware in our home. If you are looking for a way to keep drinks genuinely cold without the dilution of melting ice, these are an absolute game changer. The build quality is immediately apparent upon unboxing. The double-walled construction feels sturdy and well-engineered, and the varsity blue cooling gel inside is both vibrant and functional. The silicone band around the center is a thoughtful design choice, providing a comfortable and secure grip while protecting your hand from the intense cold of the glass. It makes the pint set feel much more premium than a standard plastic freezer mug. In terms of performance, these mugs are outstanding. My husband uses them primarily for beer, and they keep his drink at a crisp, frosty temperature from the first sip to the very last. However, I have also found them perfect for iced coffee. Because the gel lines the entire wall of the glass, it chills the liquid rapidly and maintains that temperature for a significant amount of time, even in a warm room. These cups successfully make my drinks colder. It can bring a full 16oz of room temperature soda to refrigerator temperatures in just a few minutes. It can bring a second filling down to very close to refrigerator temperature, too, if you're fast enough. The one actual problem I have is that the inside of the cups are so narrow that there is absolutely no way to clean them without a bottle brush. So make sure you have one, or just go ahead and order one at the same time. I do have a few nitpicks: It feels to me that there's too little freezing gel in these cups. As I said, it successfully makes my drinks cold, so I don't know what I'm complaining about, but it's seriously only like 60% full. It seems like they'd work even better if they were more full. The instructions say to freeze them upside down, but that's not really feasible in my freezer for space reasons. But freezing them on their side doesn't seem to cause any problems. They sometimes make cracking noises, like ice cracking. But I never see any cracks form in the frozen gel. I'm worried that it's cracking the plastic shell. (They seem to do this no matter the orientation they were frozen in.)
