The Hosim M23 is awesome. Right out of the box on 11.1V 30c , this thing isinsanely fast. It has more than enough power for big jumps, bashing, and ripping across grass, dirt, and gravel. The 3670 brushless motor stays cool thanks to the aluminum heatsink and fan, and the drivetrain feels extremely solid. The all-metal chassis, triple steel differentials, and CNC suspension components make this truck feel like quality. I’ve taken some hard landings, and it just keeps going. Steering is sharp and confident thanks to the 21kg metal-gear servo, even at high speeds. The oil-filled metal shocks soak up bumps and jumps really well, making it surprisingly controllable for such a powerful truck. Battery life is another big win. The included 5000mAh 3S LiPo gives me around 25-30 minutes of a mix of aggressive and casual driving, which is great for a truck in this performance class and size. The tires have excellent grip and don’t balloon excessively, even under hard acceleration. Although slipped a little bit on fast tight turns, probably need to break them in more. The fact that it’s 4S upgradable is the cherry on top. If you want even more speed later, this platform is ready for it. Which I plan on upgrading to very soon. Overall, this is an incredible value for a 1/10 scale brushless monster truck. Fast, durable, and built for serious bashing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for extreme performance.

I would say by far the best Hosim truck I have ever owned!! It has great speed out the box just plug and play! This is a 3s beast and would definitely like to try the 4s lipo in this thing. It’s definitely built tough. The power is perfect for a 1/10 scale and I can honestly say it’s a true 1/10 scale. The fact that you get all of this for around 350$ is a great deal no downtown about it! The life of the battery is good too. The control is good as well and you can see in my video it has a lot of power so you need to take control. Definitely a fun truck and for sure I would recommend this more for advanced RC enthusiasts! Also comes with lights and an aluminum chassis and bigger than regular shocks very cool.

Front drive shaft joint broke within the first 5 minutes. And I still had the power way less than 50 percent. They sold me on the 100amp esc and larger motor and the fast it was 4s ready. Customer support responded back one time and that was to ask my order number and hasn’t replied since.

It's good. It's fun. Almost on par with the hobby store stuff. ALMOST. Nice metal shocks, metal shafts, metal reinforcement where it should be, good ESC, good motor, everything is upgraded that should be. It really is 4s ready. It takes a beating with the best of em and goes insanely fast with a 4s battery. But at the end of the day it, like all RC cars, is a money pit and part availability needs to be top priority. So far, I haven't found alot of parts that work with this car other than OEM and have to pretty much buy parts off Hosim's site. They take about 2 weeks to come in and are expensive. That should be reason enough to keep looking for something that you can get parts for at the hobby shop by you. I've had it for a month now and the front CVD shafts keep breaking. It's 20 dollars for the pair and takes two weeks to arrive. So annoying. I'm looking at finding a suitable replacement. Also, larger capacity batteries won't fit so you're gonna have to rig something up with velcro or zip ties. It's a swing and a grounder for Hosim but not quite a miss. It is good but could be better if the parts were more readily available like Arrma and Traxxis. I also bought a net to keep debris out. I also suggest keeping it out of water and wet grass. It kept losing connection when it got wet.

This car straight out of the box is an absolute blast! I am an old Tamiya fan who got sick of busting up his expensive and complicated models every time I wanted to rip. Anyway, I wanted something like a Traxxas but they are just so expensive...I thought I would give this HOSIM brand a try first. The reviews were fantastic and for a little over what I used to spend on a controller...I have a ready to go car. I am so glad I did! The brushless motor is awesome. Range is 200 feet plus. It goes faster than I could ever need. Battery life is a little short however. Not bad...but like 12 mins. Like someone else did above, I thought why not try to modify a bigger battery to this buggy. I had some bigger LiPO batteries sitting around from my Tamiya models and I decided to bolt them up (wire tie them on- see pics). It did pretty great. And tied on like this the lid still goes on with the two front pins. This gave me about 35 mins of run time BUT the shocks were bottoming out. I started to look at upgrading the shocks and decided why not upgrade these? I had a kit of springs from Harbor Freight and I used the long spring (furthest right in enclosed picture) INSIDE each individual shock. Yes..inside. Basically, once the shock is off, unscrew the bigger red nut off...and insert the long ballpoint spring looking spring inside! I also filled them with oil an put a small Harbor Freight O-ring under the bottom end red cap too. This is a little more work because you have to actually unscrew the small red cap off and get the O-ring between that and the shock body. READ: I do not know that the oil mod is really necessary ..because with the extra spring alone...it made a huge DIFFERENCE! However, with the oil the squeak went away. With these now proper oil shocks and a 5200 battery...this thing is king of the block! Seriously, its worth a lot more than what they are charging! Hope the tips help!

True 1/10 scale Short Course Truck the M23 is a beast. The front and rear bumpers rear bumper are extremely heavy duty has wheelie bar Wheels built in which is a nice feature. nice thick chassis brace 100 amp ESC so you can run it on 4s. Big Bore shocks front is nice and flush the rear is a little on the softer side which I will probably throw some 70 weight in. Honeycomb chassis for Extra Strength. Heat sink and cooling fan on motor built-in cooling fan on the 100 amp ESC. Nice bright LED light bar on a stretchy cord so you don't have to unplug it and plug it in every time you take off the body. Comes with Charger 3s 5000 Mah 30C lipo extra hubs body clips high speed pinion gear. The remote control also has speed dial on it so you can work your way into the power. Battery life seemed pretty good it was -3° outside I went in before the battery died my hands were freezing. Overall this truck is built great just like the little brother the M13.
