The media could not be loaded. I purchased this 1:16 Scale HOSIM RC for my son for his Birthday. This is a lot of bang for the buck!!! Super fast and it has true 4X4 locked in so it does awesome donuts, wheelies and will climb a lot for its size! I turn the throttle on the remote all the way down when my son is using it and he still has a blast. It comes with two 1500MaH batteries, we’ve only used one so far and its lasted a long while. We’ve left the park every time before running out of battery on one. I would recommend this RC over ones that cost twice as much if you are looking to have fun and not break the bank. (I own the HOSIM X07) Also, this 1:16 HOSIM RC is lightyears ahead of any store bought one for the same or less price in terms of technology, power, etc. Highly recommend!!! This is the 2nd car I have bought for my kids.. Its amazing fast, super durable... Its 10x better anything I had as a kid growing up... But what sets this company apart is there customer service.. I had an issue with one of them i purchased for my daughter, They responded fast and sent parts. The first time they accidently sent the wrong parts (its not their fault it was hard to tell from the pictures honestly) but after emailing them back they put new ones in the mail. There are few products now that are not throw away, especially toys. Not only is the engineering and quality excellent, but even fewer companies have good customer service if any at all.. I am going to get an even faster one for myself, I am team Hosim.. i just wish they had planes and drones too... ... show more

    • So far So Good and A Lot of Fun

We got a couple of these for Christmas and so far they have been really fun. I never had one this cool as a kid. They have easily been ran about 25 times each and we have had no real issues, aside from the poor battery connector design, I'll get to that later. We have not crashed them at full speed yet, but had had a few head on collisions and other crashes and have not broke any parts. We even mad a jump and were hitting it at full speed and clearing some respectable distances. I imagine though, if you hit an object at full speed with just one tire something would break. The controller has the ability to reduce the overall speed which was really helpful for my eight year old son to get a grip on controlling this beast, but it wasn't long before he wanted full speed, go figure. I would be careful handing this to just any kid without reducing the speed. The controller seems really light and fragile so be careful with dropping it. Living in the Northwest we have had a chance to fully test its waterproof capabilities as well. We've gone though some puddles, probably 1" deep, and all over our lawn which is soaked from the rain and we have had no issues so far. The 4WD is great for our terrain and it can tangle with some serious leaf buildup. I even hit a lawn "landmine" and had to give it a good bath to clean it up. I wouldn't get the motor or control box wet though. Battery life seems slightly under what they suggest, we get about 10 mins per charge is all and for some reason the morning run seems to go longer than the afternoon run. I highly recommend a second battery. Speaking of the batteries, the connector is a very poor design and is almost impossible to remove once connected. You are supposed to squeeze the top and bottom of the female connector to expand the sides and release the male connector that is attached to the battery, but it doesn't function this way. The connections are so tight I needed to use pliers to grip and remove them, almost breaking the connectors. I decided since the connection is so tight that I would use my pocket knife to removed the little bumps on the male connector and we have had no problems with loosing the connection or removing the batteries to swap in a new one. ... show more

Bought this truck for my 8 year old. Wow! I didn’t expect it to rip and shred. This little truck is awesome for the money. Only came with one battery so I ordered the updated battery 2 pack with 300 more mah on Amazon. I’ll list it at the end if your interested. The new batteries not only extended the run time by about 8-10 minutes but it made a dramatic increase in power. It was already plenty powerful, and now keeps up with his brothers 9.6v 1:12 scale. The lights work great as a visual cue a night. it has no problem ripping through 6 inch tall grass or leaf piles in the yard. The build quality is great compared to another $90 dollar truck built by GP toys that we own. Nothing has broken on this truck yet surprisingly as he’s managed to ram it into just about every tire in our driveway. The following is the replacement/upgraded batteries I bought to use with this truck. Crazy fast for a toy car, lots of fun, awesome bday gift for 10yo. He loves it. Needs a little help to set up. Still works after few months. Be careful with younger kids handling it-battery gets really hot. We have 2 cars and like to race on our street.

I absolutely love this car. It was one of the first I got (branded as MJX Hyper Go), and to this day the only thing that has broken has been a wheel hub. I was able to glue it for a "good enough" fix. It's great for a first car, for someone young, or if you want to drive in a smaller space. We had a great race in the living room the other day. Pros: - Super fun to drive. Responsive and will wheelie. - Lots of metal parts. The driveshafts are insanely thick. - Plastic is great quality. Haven't had any breakage. - Body is very durable - no cracks at all. Cons: - It's pretty slow compared to a brushless model - Radio transmitter is not the greatest quality - That's basically it. ... show more
