The 2nd time I charged the battery it caught on fire when I plugged it into the rc car and turned it on. I was only able to use it a few times before it was destroyed by fire.

The media could not be loaded. Despite owning a pretty extensive RC collection with all of the major manufacturers over 40 years, I am becoming a Hosim fan. They have managed to make another fun, durable car that provides tremendous value. The car is good looking and proportioned right, as you can tell from the pictures. The package comes with extra tires, basic tools, battery and charger! To top it all off, it includes a brushless motor with metal running gear. They have information listed about the chrome steel and helical gears. It makes a difference in smooth power delivery. And it promises improved wear resistance. The drive dynamics are impressive. The scale and fat tires mean that you can drive on grass, rough terrain, loose dirt or pavement. The combination of the lower center of gravity and differential characteristics make for a surprisingly stable, controlled ride. This RC truck has brought Hosim decidedly upmarket. Some of the newer RC manufacturers are providing high power at an accessible price. But it’s not always possible to use it effectively. This Hosim delivers the whole package: explosive speed, great drive dynamics, all in a package that can take a beating.

This truck caught fire the first time using it, so be careful, but Hosim made it right by sending a new truck with a new ESC. Thanks Hosim! They suggest upgrading the stock ESC to avoid problems like this. Update: the second car rips: it's fast, handles well, and doesn't overheat as long as you are careful not to run it full throttle for too long (I only drive full in bursts, like speed runs). Nice truck that holds up with middle-ground Arrma short course trucks.

The media could not be loaded. If you’re looking for a fast, tough, and fun RC truck, this one delivers. It hits speeds up to 80 km/h, and handles rough terrain like a champ. It comes equipped with a powerful 2847 3100KV motor, metal drivetrain, helical gear differential (for smoother, quieter operation), and adjustable oil-filled shocks for better handling on rough terrain. It has a responsive 3KG servo to offer versatility and control.The upgraded helical gear differential makes the ride smoother and quieter, and the included two sets of tires are great for switching between different surfaces. It rips through corners and jumps really well. I forgot to mention the 3s battery, this car is on steroids for its size. Battery lasts a good while when alternating b/w high and normal speeds. It’s really fast and handles well. Built to last, even on tough terrain. The acceleration is awesome, pops wheelies. I would highly recommended the M13 you’re into RC and want something that’s fast, durable, and fun to drive just about anywhere, this truck is a solid choice. Definitely worth it if you’re ready for some serious performance. I love Hosim for spoiling us with ton of accessories, tires, extra clips, wheels, hex nuts, charger, battery and more.
