This is a nice little RC truck for the money. It's really quick for it's size and 4 wheel drive allows it go over just about any terrain. Lots of little extras and spare parts come with this one too. My kids love how it light up and you can change the light colors. Battery pack last a long time on 3 each charge. My kid's were getting 25-30mins per battery... Only minor complaint is the directional trim is a little touchy to get dialed in just right. The trigger style controller makes this easy to operate. This is a brushed setup that won't beat any speed records but it's a good for the person that's new to the hobby. It looks like a 390 sized motor that uses a two in one esc. The steering servo is mounted horizontally underneath the esc/receiver. And the steering servo does have a servo saver. All links are plastic and the driveshafts are dogbones in the front with dogbones/cvd in the rear. The outputs are plastic coming out of the diffs. Tires are glued but not really that well and I found a decent sized slice in one. They aren't foam filled and shocks are just sprung with no oil. It uses a proprietary lithium ion 2s pack but you could easily upgrade to lipo for a little more performance. The center drive shaft is completely incased in the chassis. It does have a multitude of lights including under chassis lighting, front bumper, roof lights front and rear. I'd rather see better shocks or tire setup instead though. This is a 1/14th scale so it's a bit bigger than the 1/16th giving it decent ground clearance. The wires coming from the esc/receiver going to the body I'd like to see a bit longer but you can unplug if you need to do repairs or maintenance. It does come with spare a-arms, wheel nuts, and body clips. It even came with a small brush for cleaning. For the price you get a decent entry level almost hobby grade monster truck that will holdup to some backyard bashing. Fun, durable, performance 1/14 scale it's all there...with range(distance)and run time(35-40min),and options for adjustments on the remote control......this is the one for kiddos 😀.. And I recommend this to anyone that wants to have fun....for more fun try 1/10 version
