My horse is a 16.2 warmblood and quite girthy, so it took me a long time to find a surcingle that would fit him. This one fits with additional holes in the girth, so it would fit very big horses. Love the construction of it too.

I like the basic quality of this surcingle, but it tends to move. Need a sturdy pad under it (like a thinline pad) to keep it steady.

This product is overall disappointing. The rings on the sides are much smaller than the top- the buckle for my long lines won't fit through the lower side ring and can only go through the higher rings, making double lunging or using the lower setting for a Pessoa system impossible. The lower side rings only work for hooking side reins or vienna reins to. Additionally, the padding is very minimal so if your horse has anything but a very flat back, you'll have to add additional padding. Overall a cheap and poorly made product. Now having to buy ANOTHER surcingle and will be more careful this time in assessing functionality. ... show more
